Lovely once we warmed up.
Pros:

Breakfast was nice, I didn't try them, but my husband was very impressed with the sausages!
The food for evening meal was excellent (10+/10) :
The chef cooked my husbands steak EXACTLY how he likes it , which is a very unusual experience!

Cons:

Unfortunately we had to complain about the amberent temperature in the bar and restaurant: much too cold !!
This was a stay in early February!
However, (like other diners, we put our coats on to eat dinner) and found that all the communal radiators had at some time been switched off!
Having amended this ourselves, we were able to enjoy our meal and post- dinner drinks.

GOOD STAY & COMFORTABLE
Pros:

HOTEL WAS NICE & GOOD LOCATION FOR WHAT WE REQUIRED

Cons:

OOKED AN EXEXERTIVE DOUBLE ROOM BUT TWO SINGLE BEDS WERE FIXED TOGETHER. FOR THE MONEY WE PAID
I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED A FRIDGE IN THE ROOM

Cold, cheaper room than i paid for, uncomfortable, loud and extortianate
Pros:

Breakfast and the massage were the only good points

Cons:

We didnt get the room we paid for, there was music blasting through the floor feom the kitchen until 1am. We had to pay a seperate charge for a spa at a spa hotel! And in any case they shut the spa at 5pm with no prior warning. Room was freezing we had to sleep fully clothed with hoods and hats on.

Lovely hotel with great staff and a comfortable room
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and the staff were all very friendly

Cons:

The breakfast cooks couldn't keep up with the food being eaten. The wine glasses in the bar could be do to be a bit more fancy, they were the same glasses used for juice at breakfast time.

Overpriced, outdated and staff look bored
Pros:

Ordered dinner and meal was wrong, ordered 2 items and they didn’t have them so had to chance, rooms are run down, spa is tatty and dated just like the hotel, rooms run down, had a faulty light in room, told reception they didn’t care to be honest, it’s overpriced for what it was and staff don’t really seem to care. There was a lady int he spa who was lovely and helpful but that’s it.

Tasteless food and cheap wine made it a very average stay. Needs refirb
Pros:

The bed was comfy.

Cons:

Dining room table was sticky, the food was poor quality. Having assumed that payment for extras (dinner, drinks) would be on check out, I then had a man banging on the door at 22:15 demanding money for my meal that evening. Breakfast was poor quality. The toilet cistern dripped all night. The bed wasn't made properly, the duvet and pillowcases not on the mattress and pillows fully so had to finish making the bed.
