Parking was a big problem
Pros:

Not much. No help with suitcases up (or down) exceptionally steep steps.
No daily cleaning as the hotel only had one key - the guest' key!
The closest and bathroom door did not close easily.

Public rooms were comfortable, if unused.
Breakfast menu was extensive and well prepared.

Cons:

We had a problem with parking. I had misunderstood the Booking.com description and assumed the hotel offered parking. Instead we were stressed with watching the clock on the meter and received a costly fine (in addition to the expense of paying for parking)!

Great location, would have liked a room geared to a female needs rather than just geared to a male needs
Pros:

Close to central bus station and shops. Clean

Cons:

Street noise meant window had to be closed on very warm night. Definitely a man’s room with none of the female needs met like no bedside light, no flannels in the bathroom, no mirror for close up make up application, only a shower no bath.

Lovely boutique hotel with fantastic staff and a personal touch. Thoroughly recommended.
Pros:

Lovely little boutique place, with a splendid cafe (morning/day only) in a very convenient location. Staff were extremely engaging and very helpful. My late check-in was accommodated with kindness and a welcome personal touch. Room was very comfortable, quiet and peaceful looking onto the garden which I imagine will be lovely in the summer. Will certainly stay again if I am ever in IoW.

Cons:

Nothing - it was everything it advertised itself to be and I was aware on booking there was no evening restaurant. There are plenty of places to eat within minutes walking distance.

Pros:

Such a lovely hotel. The room was perfect, staff were friendly and the food delicious. The location is ideal with easy access to anywhere on the island

Cons:

Parking is a slight issue but one evening we paid for overnight parking in the adjacent car park..but that was only £2 after 6pm. Sat night we parked on the street outside and that was free. This is a small price

Exceeded my expectations.
Pros:

Room was fabulous. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was perfect.

Cons:

I would have preferred to have had water in the room rather than a kettle to make coffee or tea.
