Very nice place, clean and comfortable. Also very welcoming.
The staff was very friendly help and caring. The place was extremely
well maintained beautiful gardens lovely relaxing atmosphere. Th owener was very caring she even took me to a nearby restaurant on my first day as I am not walking well and she even came back for me all in all a perfect place to stay
There was nothing I didn't like
Beautifully decorated. Lovely garden. Good food.
Broken window blind which didn’t cover window.
Great veggie breakfast and beautiful garden, nicely decorated rooms that felt clean and fresh.
Dining room was a little tired but I'm sure it's on their list of renovations...
Breakfast great location ideal.
Bed Squeaked
Breakfast was ok.
Décor was quite nice.
The stairs are steep and twisting which made carrying cases up to the room a challenge, especially having carried them from the nearest publick carpark.
Carpark angsiety was a real problem. The nearby private carpark has some terrible Trustpilot reviews and the public carpark opposite it has limited phone coverage and a faulty machine. The hotel could easily suggest that guests check in and use their WIFI to pay for multi day parking at the public carpark . Cost works out as £40 for 4 days and £70 for upto 7 days in 2025. This is something that the hotel should tell guests before they arrive. SEA STREET SHORT STAY CARPARK is the place to park. You can stay for up to 7 days but need to pay at the start on the internet using the PayByPhone app. The car park number is 84066
Great recently renovated bnb in a quaint town with amazing breakfast and clean rooms. We were able to book last-minute since we didn’t like our other accommodations/were sailing on a dirty boat and weren’t sure where it would dock until the day of.
They renovated everything but the carpet floors so it smelled a bit like old carpet, so I couldn’t sleep well/was up at 5.30am from carpet smell. My friend slept fine tho.
This a lovely boutique hotel. Each bedroom is individual. The location is perfect, close to the center of Newport. The breakfast is excellent served in a pleasant room overlooking the garden.
The shower head was very old (fixed head and needed the limescale removed) and there was a dead insect in the shower.
Karen was so Great!!! Just what we were looking for! This was Super clean, Amazing service in all regards and VERY COMFORTABLE Stay!!!Love the location as well!!
Highly Recommended!!

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk ontbijt, leuke kamer met heerlijk bed. Fantastisch geslapen. Dichtbij centrum Newport maar in een rustig hoekje. In 5 minuten loop je naar busstation.
Kan niks bedenken!
Room was lovely and bathroom was huge with a gorgeous pink bath - felt very retro! Some people might have thought dated, but we quite liked it.
The woman running the place was very friendly.
The garden area was absolutely lovely and so well kept. We spent time in the evening here and it was peaceful.
Breakfast service was lacking and they said they couldn’t do hash browns even though that was the menu we were given but they made a fuss and said the fryer was off - just didn’t feel like great service.
On Booking.com it had stated that we would get a free bottle of wine and a bottle of champagne included. This did feel too good to be true and when we arrived, they confirmed this wasn’t the case. They were so kind in giving us a bottle of wine anyway as we’d read it here but details must be updated to reflect the true offering.
Comfy quiet room and bed , lovley breakfast
Wi-Fi was pants😀
