Having stayed at many Marriott properties over the years, I can confidently say that Marriott Mai Khao ranks among the very best, not just because of its beautiful property and comfortable rooms, but because of the genuinely exceptional people who make the experience so memorable.
Our room was spacious, immaculately maintained, and extremely comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind after each day. The resort itself is peaceful, beautifully landscaped, and ideal for families looking for a relaxing getaway.
What truly sets this property apart, however, is its staff. Every interaction was warm, sincere, and service oriented.
A heartfelt thank you to Paul at the Bell Desk, who welcomed us with a smile and was consistently helpful throughout our stay.
The restaurant team was outstanding. Cheela deserves special recognition for her attentiveness, courtesy, and remarkable ability to anticipate guests’ needs. Yaya was equally impressive, always welcoming, efficient, and genuinely caring.
Then there was George, who was undoubtedly the heart and soul of the restaurant. His infectious energy, sense of humour, and wonderful rapport with guests, especially our young son, made every meal an enjoyable experience. He has a natural gift for hospitality.
At the pool, P was exceptional. He was constantly attentive without ever being intrusive and was fantastic with children. Our son absolutely loved interacting with him, as did many of the other children at the pool. He is a real asset to the resort.
The chefs also deserve immense praise. Chef Pawan went out of his way to ensure every request was accommodated, and the quality of his food was consistently excellent. Chef Guayteaw prepared every dish exactly as requested, and every meal was flawless. Mario was another team member whose professionalism and warmth added significantly to our overall experience.
If I had one small suggestion, it would be to consider adding more visible markings for the submerged steps and seating levels in the swimming pool. I bumped my shin a couple of times because the changes in depth weren’t immediately obvious. It is a minor observation and one that could further enhance guest safety.
That aside, this was genuinely a five star experience in every sense. The facilities were excellent, the service was outstanding, and the people made all the difference. Marriott Mai Khao has a team that clearly takes immense pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. We leave with wonderful memories and look forward to returning.

Our favorite place to relax, recharge, and enjoy. The service is professional, courteous, and helpful, always. Bao, Keen, and Jaew at the pool cabana , Bella, Den, George, and Cheela at breakfast. I can’ t say enough about how they make us feel like a member of their family. Whether we are gone for 3-4 months or 9-10, they always remember and make us feel so welcome.

We’ve been coming here for four years now and the Mai Kao has become the favorite destination

Я вместе с детьми была тут на 3 дня, бронировали номер с собственным бассейном,тут очень классно,терраса была очень большой, так же тут очень тихо,бассейн был теплым,работники приносили фрукты,много лежаков и было очень просто найти лежак,а так же дети было в игровой,им понравилось это игровая,чистота все на высшем уровне! Очень дружелюбный сервис! Так же у одного из моих детей было день рождения на завтраке поздравили с маленьким тортом и с надписью: happy birthday batyr!
Было очень приятно. Сервис был на высшем уровне! Все дружелюбные! Нам очень понравился отель обязательно вернемся !💗

Очень хороший отель, расположенный в тихой курортной зоне. Красивая территория и номера.
Гостеприимный и внимательный обслуживающий персонал.

Ultra uprzejma obsługa, niesamowity hotel, świetne wielkie apartamenty z dużym tarasem. Po 16 dniach spędzonych na motocyklu objeżdżając Tajlandię to miejsce było zupełni oderwane od typowej Tajlandii, bardziej przypominało Hawaje ze swoją rozbudowaną infrastrukturą dookoła takie jak ala centrum handlowe, sklepy restauracje także z cenami :) i menu w okolicznych restauracjach :). Dla ludzi chcących spędzić czas w ciszy ,super wyciszone apartamenty nie słychać sąsiadów, jako baza wypadowa ,ale trzeba się liczyć ze atrakcje Phuket są oddalone o min 1h jazdy :) ale co to jest w takich okolicznościach przyrody.
