The hotel was beautiful and lovely and quiet. Really lovely.
There was no hot water in our shower.
Amazing design with an indoor-outdoor feel and very green and lush with vegetation.
Big room and luxurious outdoor bathroom with shower and bath
Lovely staff
Great restaurant with very nice staff
Lovely pool area
Noise isolation not great due to the doors having no windows but this is not something they can do much about.
Great location near the beach and wonderful staff. The rooms are outstanding: clean, comfortable beds, great views and hammocks.
Booking.com used AI to generate slightly misleading room description. No fault of hotel.
Så snyggt i alla detaljer. Småskaligt och omhändertaget. Arkitekturen !
Inget negativt att plocka fram.
Location was great. Hotel was beautiful. Staff were attentive and friendly
Room was very comfy, amazing view from the balcony.
Pool was relaxing and got plenty of sun
Great property, great food, lovely pool
Only issue is that sometimes there is a bad smell that comes across the pool area from bins outside.
Great location in Punta de Zicatela some 200 m from the beach.
Nice architecture although rooms and swimming pool on the small side.
Some nice employees willing to help, certainly not all (special call out to one of the front girls who was always very helpful and smiley, one of the guys with beard at the front desk and Argentinian young man at the restaurant. The rest pretty dry and almost unwelcoming.
Food at the restaurant was okay but expensive. A burger will set you back nearly $20 dollars.
Smallish rooms, small (short) beds, someone measuring over 180cm will have their feet hanging out of the bed
Mattresses quite hard and plastic mattress covers and bedding not very welcoming.
Water in the shower in room 4 always runs hot, it is nearly unbearable to shower, as almost burning. Could not turn to cold.
Hammock in the balcony looking pretty worn out.
Amenities poor.
No glass in windows means you can hardly keep the aircon in and certainly not the noise!
We were allocated a room by the restaurant and we could hear the staff from 6.30am setting up.
Music all hours in all areas of the hotel, from 9am to 10pm, it really was an overkill, no time to just relax in silence, or listening to the birds, insects and the amazing sea in the distance. If you are a digital nomad this is not the place for you as not silent areas from which to work or jump on a quick work call.
Some of the staff just rude. The experience on the last day at checkout just abysmal. We lost one of th two room key cards given to us on arrival, we had not been verbally made aware that loosing it would incurr into circa $35 dollars of cost. When I enquired one of the girls at the front desk didnt even bother to explain, she just simply printed the terms and conditions which i had signed in an ipad upon arrival at reception (my bad i did not read them as would have only taken out one keycard), and handed the t&cs over without much of a look or a kind explanation.
The attitude was so arrogant I could not believe it, treated almost like criminals, after paying over $300 dollars per night, and eaten repeteadly at their restaurant always leaving generous tips.
Unfortunately it left us with a bitter taste and cant say i would go back.
La comodidad, tranquilidad y las instalaciones del hotel. Las habitaciones llenas de detalles, toallas, pareos, ventiladores de techo, etc. El restaurante y todo el personal. El hotel parecía sacado de una revista de decoración
The hotel is beautifully designed, excellent service. However, there is a lot noise as the rooms have no windows. During the day it’s fine. But in the morning it is impossible to sleep in as the birds and the kitchen make a lot of noise.
The property itself was gorgeous. The hotel common areas felt very spacious and relaxing, with the pool area being the perfect place to relax on a hot and sunny day. I also loved that there was a common area to relax in with a large banquet sized table and chairs. I had the pleasure of enjoying the food as well, which was excellent, and should be considered as one of the dining options amongst those in town.
I stayed in the bungalow in front of the pool (other rooms were raised) and would have strongly preferred to have a mosquito net in the room since the doors slid wide open to make the room fully open to the outdoors, which is a nice feature, however that also allows the outside nature to enter the bungalow, including flying critters and ants that can crawl in through cracks in the door and floors. Adding a mosquito net could fully address this.
