Location, hotel very easy to find, manager and staff very friendly, room clean, bedding comfy mattress and clean sheets.
Thai food, expensive and not upto expectation. Lacking in meat content.
The young staff were very welcoming and accommodating of my two children with additional needs. They went the extra mile with supporting them to do a treasure hunt around the beer garden whilst we were waitkng for our meal.
The meal was served relatively quickly after a long drive from our main holiday which was appreciated.
The apartment was spacious.
Very close to Longleat which was very helpful for us
The apartment at the front is not appropriate for children as there is a club opposite. Music and drunk adults shouting in the street up until about 1am ish Friday night.
Some rubbish was found in the room from previous guests.
The room was very smoky smelling.
The walls and room are due some much needed attention
Bathroom door and shower oddly placed making access difficult.
Shower changing temp throughout maybe due to water pressure?
10% added to bill for dinner
Expensive breakfast and drinks all additional as if just buying them, no perk of all inclusive or cheaper as a ‘hotel’ guest
I had an issue with the shower which was resolved immediately by moving to another room. The hotel was central to all the facilities and was what I expected
The teemperature of the water in the bathroom was I felt excessively hot. In the second room I could adjust the shower but even so I feel that the hot water temperature should be reduced to avoid any accidental scalding especially if a child turned on the hot taps.
Excellent location
Facilities very dated. Particularly the bathroom which was falling apart.
It was close to longleat and also middle of town for restaurants (chinese Great Wall very good) and pubs
Tv aerial was faulty couldnt get a watchable channel plus tv was over by the window not directly in front of bed ...very strange
Great location for Longleat and Stonehenge attractions. In the middle of the town. Staff really friendly.
Our room overlooked the main street and was very noisy at night. Breakfast was really expensive, £3.50 for one slice of toast! And the bar closed at 9.30 on the Sunday of our stay as there was only one member of staff on site.
Convenient location and refurbished nice bathrooms.
Understandably uneven floors as it is an old building.
Lovely old pub, doubling as a Thai restaurant. Lovely staff. Good value.
Only that I didn’t get to try the Thai food.
Very nice and friendly place, in a good location! Stayed here for a wedding and the hosts were super helpful in allowing me and my friends to check in early at no extra cost.
Is above/part of a pub, so be aware it can be loud until around midnight! Was quiet after that.
Well located in the town, rooms were nice and the staff were pleasant.
Very expensive considering breakfast was not included. No staff presence in silent hours.
