Austero pero hace su función
Pros:

Tiene aire acondicionado, cerca del muelle y de buenos restaurantes calidad-precio. Limpio. Buenas comunicaciones por WhatsApp. Abajo tienen una agencia donde venden el barco a las Perhentian y los traslados al aeropuerto al precio estándar y muy profesionales (te acompañan y recogen con cartel). El alojamiento es austero pero te avisan de ello cuando haces la reserva.

Cons:

Es un alojamiento para pasar 1 noche antes de ir al puerto.

Puur voor de locatie voor de boot oké.
Pros:

Locatie qua dichtbij de haven/Jetty is prettig en ook qua restaurantjes en supermarkt.

Cons:

Kakkerlakken in de badkamer.

Enorm veel vogel geluiden, alsof ze op de kamer zaten.

Direct naast een moskee. Je bent dus om 06:00AM klaar wakker.

A cheap over night stay for ferry to Perhentian Islands.
Pros:

It must be noted that the price of this accommodation was very cheap. It was basically for an overnight stay to catch the ferry to the Perhentian Islands. We did not expect a lot due to price paid.
It is clean, the bed was comfortable but very basic. The location is right across the road from the jetty.
Entry was via a key safe and all communication was done through WhatsApp.
It is basic but cheap and clean.

Cons:

The toilet / bathroom is tiny and water leaked. We did not have a shower as only an overnight stay.

Convenient stay with a good location, but improvements needed in service, cleanliness, and air conditioning
Pros:

Location. Great spot to start your trip from Kuala Besut Jetty. The location is easy to find and very accessible, with clear directions and nearby parking.

Food is not a problem at all—plenty of stalls and small restaurants within walking distance serving tasty and affordable local dishes. There’s also a surau nearby, which is very convenient.

Overall, everything you need is just around the jetty—restaurants, shops, and basic facilities. Very convenient and traveler-friendly 👍

Cons:

What I didn’t like was the lack of standby staff, which made it a bit inconvenient if you needed assistance. The air conditioning was not really functioning well, so the room felt quite hot in the evening. Cleanliness could also be improved, although it was still acceptable overall.

Strategic position for the jetty
Pros:

The self check in was smooth.The room big and clean. Air condition worked well. The staff memeber was responsive over the phone and helpful. The locatio is perfect if you need to take the jetty the day after

Cons:

Unfortunately when I opened the wc I found two poop stains right on the toilet seat, so it was not properly cleaned from the previous guest I guess. Also the building in front produce an high volume bird sound to attract swollows whose nests are used for cosmetic purposes.Apparently is the new business in town. It stops around 10 pm but you can still hear the other buildings nearby and start again early in the morning. It's super loud and even if it's not responsibility of the property it impact the stay so much that it should be advertised.

Doable room with no wifi

- no wifi (contacted owner and they said it is some network issue, but was not proactive in trying to accommodate)
