It was a lovely weekend getaway, we were really pampered by the staff

Luxurious stay in central part of Madrid’s touristy area
Pros:

Luxurious, on a quieter street but still very central, very pleasant staff, very comfortable, huge bed, luxurious linen, bath towels, spacious walk in shower, excellent breakfast with outstanding choice of fresh fruits, all the food was of excellent quality

Cons:

No bidet in the toilet.
You have to pay for any tea or coffee that you make in the room.

Beautiful hotel run by a very friendly staff. From the moment someone took our bags to the our nightcap at the bar, everyone was excellent,

Probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in an hotel.

Cons:

charging a few euros for the espresso pods in the room was a bit much.
