Great location within walking distance of the Bell Tower, Drum Tower and City Wall South Gate. What made it was the array of food right near the hotel. Forget Muslim Street, this is better and cheaper. Underground also close
Good beds and bedding, decent bathroom. Breakfast was OK Cleaned daily. Staff were helpful, though limited English.
Internet not working, a common theme in Chinese hotels it seems A warning, there's more than one Starway Hotel in Xi'an. I chose the wrong one for the taxi. I recommend inputting the building rather than the hotel name NB taxis can't enter the street most of the time so you are dropped nearby

Fantastic location (a very short walk to the bell and drum towers and the Muslim quarter), clean and spacious room with a great shower. Very comfortable beds.
The entrance, lobby and breakfast area were very dark and a bit dingy.
Ottimo hotel nel centro della città vecchia di Xi'an vicinissimo alla Bell Tower. Dall' aeroporto metro 14 e poi metro 2 fino alla fermata Zhonglou ( uscita E della metro e poi uscita 5 del sottopasso ). L' hotel è in una via semi pedonale , passano i motorini, piena di ristorantini e locali per mangiare. alla sera è un pò rumoroso per il vociare dei tanti giovani che mangiano ai tavoli in strada ma poi si tranquillizza. L' entrata è un pò anonima ( ingresso da un ascensore con apertura porte sulla strada ) ma l' insegna dell' hotel è bella grande . Salire al 5° piano. Lo staff della reception è gentilissimo. Non tutti parlano inglese ma usano il traduttore. Stanza ampia come da foto, pulita e confortevole. La colazione non è compresa. Viene circa 3 euro ed è prevalentemente cinese. Ci sono comunque fette pancarrè da tostare, burro , marmellata, uova e frutta. il caffè non è un gran che. Il prezzo dell' hotel è molto economico. Sono arrivato alle 11.00 del mattino e mi hanno dato subito la camera.
La colazione sopratutto cinese. Al limite portatevi caffè o cappuccino in bustina ( c'è il bollitore ) e vi comprate dei biscotti.
Super friendly staff and clean rooms. Even though staff didn’t speak English, the communication was great. We would use translation apps and never had a problem. The breakfast was also very decent.
The location is quite central, which is great but can be a bit noisy in late hours. It didn’t bother me at all as the room was well insulated, but could still hear noise very remotely.
Cleaners were professional and attentive to my request. Receptionist was helpful in finding alternative room when I asked to change it because the room I was first assigned had strong odor of cigarettes.

The location
No window
The rooms are big, comfortable, and well equipped. Everything was clean and modern. The location is also a big plus since it is very close to the subway and the Muslim street.
It can be noisy if the room is on the street side. But it shouldn’t be a problem if you fall asleep easily or go to bed late. Otherwise, make sure it is on the back side.
