Breakfast was superb , dinner was superb . Loved the quirkiness of this hotel . The building looks beautiful from the outside. Parking was excellent and free . Room was nice size and very comfortable.
Hotel was excellent and well worth the money but would have preferred the food supplements to have been included in the price from the start.
The Rudloe is an exceptional place to stay. I started my visit in the shepherd’s hut, which was a wonderfully comfortable and unique experience, with beautiful views. I then moved into the house, where the room was equally exquisite. Everything felt special, thoughtful and full of character. I absolutely loved my stay and would definitely return!
Honestly, there wasn’t anything I didn’t like! I loved every part of my stay and would happily come back again. The Rudloe is a truly special place.
Location convenient to Bath, Corsham etc. Staff pleasant and helpful. Parking excellent. Main building attractive - Listed Grade 11.
Interior dark and like a museum filled with pictures and fascinating artefacts - facinating in the extreme. Food was excellent.
However, our ancestors room in the annex lacked a lot - no heating,no outlook, no telephone, no tissues, no biscuits or literature re.the area.

had dinner and breakfast. dinner menu (starters) slightly limited. meat pate, fish pate and one other. i like a limited menu but too much pate! food great though.
i stayed in the separate building. the communal area, landing stairs were grubby, marks on car[pet and walls etc but i think you are probably in the process of tidying it all up
weird decor. we wondered if they have rooms by the hour.
the decor. also the shower had no hand held attachment. lighting was poor. no where to look in a mirror and dry your hair. Too much emphasis on decor and too little on comfort.

It was so unusual and Querky but fascinating. All the artifacts, furniture match the gothic building beautifully we loved our stay in the Coach house. Breakfast was Superb, fresh and hot. Nigel in the restaurant was the perfect gentleman and so friendly.
Our bed was very squeaky every time one of us turned over it woke us both up however it was a comfortable mattress. Pillows were to soft but that was just our preference.

Deco needs updating in staircase area and entrance to the rooms. A bit shabby. Lift not working.
Nothing much as it was dark and dingy
It was very dark in the bedroom and we could hardly see anything in the room, the floor was slippy, the furniture was old and tired plus there were dead animal heads on the walls. The bathroom only had a bath which we could not use due to our health issues and the shower attachment was stuck shut. There was no TV or coffee/tea making facilities and the staff did but want to be there due to the lack of a manager. Very poor service too.

Uncontactable by phone prior to staying, no reply to emails, no customer care, cold dismissive staff, food very limited and not great, very unwelcoming feel. Dark must rooms, lots of stuffed dead animals
Lovely location. Perfect for a chilled break
The bed ( coach house) was really uncomfortable!
