Not easy to find, signage is minimal and overgrown, making it look like a private house. Even reception is down a corridor from the entrance hall. Bar prices and extras are at premium prices. The designer bar has all anonymous bottles, so you don’t know what you are drinking my Cuba libre with lemonade instead of coke was £25 instead of £14 for the original cocktail.

Entrance to annexe building shabby, old doors , carpets frayed, damp smelling. Really let the rest of the property down.
Reception staff cold, unwelcoming and particularly unhelpful. Why employ people like that in jobs facing the public!? Bizarre.
Took £100 from my account for 4 days?? No idea or explanation why. No other booking.com property I have stayed at has done this.
Room lovely but very hot, no fans, and very dark. Very difficult to put on make up or do hair.
Also, no reply to e-mails or phone calls.

The lighting was not good in the room the room was not clean on Sunday we had no clean towels or any tea coffee I had to complain . breakfast not may choices and some foods and drink where not in the price you had to pay extra

It was hard to find the reception or anyone to help. Contacting the hotel after I left was nearly impossible a lot of calling and chasing to resolve my issue

Wij sliepen in een zijgebouw. Van buiten is het mooi, van binnen erg verouderd. De deuren slaan hard dicht en de deur kon niet van binnen op slot. Ook zat de badkamer vol met schimmel. De vloer in de kamer is van juten, dit is erg onhygiënisch.
In en uitchecken moest via mijn mobiel op een app, terwijl ik in de receptie stond. Dat vond ik erg raar en niet professioneel. Er is mij ook niet gevraagd hoe mijn verblijf was bij het uitchecken.

Breakfast rate did not include Full English Breakfast. This was only available for a supplement. Breakfast had a £2 per person cover charge. The amount is irrelevant. It’s the penny-pinching optics of charging extra for a booking rate which already includes breakfast. If you need the £2 then add it into the room rate.

Avocado breakfast was not nice at all. Avocado had been likely ripened in hot water. The taste was off and some pieces were very hard.

Room was too hot with no ventilation. Main room light did not work. Labels left on bathroom suite which just shows poor attention to detail.

Heel het hotel maakte een slordige indruk maar de verbazing was nog groter toen we onze kamet zagen...overal schimmel op de muren en het plafond, spinnenwebben, tapijt volledig versleten
Bij het ontbijt: geen fruit "we don't do fruit..." Geen croissants en zelf geen glaasje fruitsap ttz toen ik er eentje vroeg stond die op mijn rekening: 9 pond, 5 pond fruitsap en 4 pond servicecharge Dat heb ik niet willen betalen

The house wasn’t to my taste and I didn’t like the extra service charge for breakfast and having to pay for options on the breakfast menu when it stated breakfast included

No signs anywhere around the entrance to tell you were in the right place.Carpets dirty, windows not cleaned, entrance like an old hospita and dirty stairsl, lift out of order, new joinery to our door not painted. decorative items missing from the wall but the fixings and screws still in the wall. kettle on an extension lead. threshold to shower was rotten wood and had been kicked in. mouldy mastic around the shower tray. balcony metal railings rusty. Everything was very run down. If we weren't attending a wedding close by we would not have stayed and wanted our money back

Food was poor, communication was poor. Food was ok but not what I would class as 5 star.Room was hot no air-conditioning no fan.

Wir haben das Hotel eine Weile gesucht, da es kein Hinweisschild gab. Die Fenster unseres Zimmers ließen sich nicht öffnen - wir hätten gerne mal frische Luft geatmet.
