Location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious room on second floor, comfy bed and tea/coffee facilities.

The pub had parking and was in a great location. Easy to book in, and they last minute changed our room to a family room for us. They take dogs, and are properly dog friendly. All the staff were great, friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent value. A good stay.

Great location, lovely staff, free parking, vegan breakfast on request.
Mattress and pillows weren’t great. Paper thin walls meant I was woken up at 5am by the guest in the adjacent room speaking in the phone.

Location and welcome were excellent. Bed was comfy too
Bath water was brown and it was quite noisy on the street at night but to be expected from the location.
Location was fantastic.A short walk to the beach. Food was nice & not too pricey. Staff were lovely & service was great.
Key card for the bedroom door was temperamental. More lighting in the room with maybe a lamp near the dressing table.

The room we had, has sloping ceiling, so bending down especially in the bathroom.

Shower didn’t work and was very hot was placed at the top and was too hot being pregnant with not much air would like a refund if can please I left in tears

We absolutely loved staying at the Spyglass & Kettle! It was incredibly dog friendly, both in the pub area and in the room we stayed in, which made such a difference for us. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was really good, and we even got to enjoy live music on Friday night, which was lovely. The location is excellent, with the beach right across the road, you really couldn’t ask for more. We’d definitely stay again!
