Pros:

Very nice room with all necessary facilities and about half mile to Kyoto station. Very good front office staff. No coffee but have a soda or water dispenser. Close to Keihan train station and subway

Pros:

It is clean and comfortable enough a bit "no frills" though. What was especially good about this hotel was the location in Kyoto in a quieter neighborhood within walking distance of major sites, and with good cafes and parks and gardens and a nice little river just right next door. So we really enjoyed our Kyoto stay here.

Cons:

There was no coffee in the lobby and they could not forward our bags to kanazawa, so we had to go to the 7-Eleven to have that done which was not a huge problem because it was just a short walk away

Pros:

super location and amazing staff! clean and comfortable

Cons:

nothing from the hotel and staff sides.
just the washing machine and dryer were always occupied. the only time I had the chance to use it someone removed my clothes after 1 minute from the end of the cycle while still wet :( I had to take them in the room still wet.

Pros:

El personal molt amable. L'hotel està ben ubicat i comunicat, tant de l'estació com del centre.
Bones habitacions.

Cons:

Per posar una pega, la rentadora-secadora no secava la roba i vam haver de penjar la roba per tota l'habitació perque s'assequés.

Nice location, great hotel.
Pros:

Great location, 15mins from train station and 30mins walking from main center. Hotel was nice and the rooms were quite comfortable. Nice neighbourhood to walk around.

Cons:

The WiFi didn’t work good.

Pleasant quiet stay in a small, newer hotel.
Pros:

Quiet comfortable room with western beds, although firm mattresses (as expected in Japan). It is a short walk to a train station that will take you directly to places like Gion for dining. The tea kettle in the room was nice, but some coffee to go with it would have been nice. Our room had a bit of a city view. The river is also close by for morning strolls.

Cons:

This hotel is a bit far from Kyoto station (about a 20 minute walk or almost the same amount time by public transportation). There is no breakfast or even coffee in the lobby. It is about a 5-minute walk to 7-11 for the nearest coffee/breakfast. Being a little farther away from the city center does make it a more budget-friendly option, however.
