Great location, comfortable stay
Pros:

Location was great and on frequent transport lines to everywhere. Although the room we were in was not bright we liked it as it was very quiet and there was no noise with windows closed. We were worried it would be hot with no air con and heat wave but the room was surprisingly very cool naturally and we slept well without any fan needed and windows closed. We chose this room as it wasn’t in the attic which we thought would be hot. We didn’t hear any church bells from our room with windows closed. There is a fan that is fine for day but it is super powerful so very noisy if needed at night. The staff were responsive on the messaging system and gave extra pillows when requested. Having a washing machine was really handy - noting one needs to pay separately for it. The bed itself was comfortable. Was good to have room serviced daily for apartment.

Cons:

The cleanliness was not perfect such as the floor. The bathroom walls had some mould and were not cleaned well and walls throughout were marked which is not expected for this price point. I could wipe some off some mould myself with a wet one so it was evident attention to detail with cleaning was lacking. The self check in process is a little bit messy - although the staff are responsive - things don’t quite work perfectly and we saw others struggling. One can’t use the online key to get into laundry so then one needs key card to program which cancels online key and cards kept not working. Best to check in before you arrive as system there doesn’t work well but before you arrive sometimes the link doesn’t work but they will send you new one. It may be helpful if they at least have phone directly to call for help when needed at self check in as it has a phone number to call on WhatsApp but when you try call it says message only and then you have to wait for reply through message. Would be good to have phone at reception for those who don’t have phone overseas. Price is high for what it is but it’s peak time in Lucerne so all places have high prices.

Great choice, over-priced, for the future Aircondition is a must.

Cons:

No air conditioning - we knew it from the beginning but with these heat waves and climate crisis they need to reconsider. Fan is not enough anymore (and not in every room) and this floor cooling didn’t make any difference to our view.
Also it would be good if they add some instructions in all the buttons the apartment has.

Die Unterkunft war sauber, zentral

Cons:

Keine Klimaanlage, im DG sehr warm, ständig leutende Kirchenglocken direkt vor dem Fenster, Raum war so vollgestopft mit Möbeln, wir haben eine Nacht verlängert, da ein Late Check out nicht buchbar ist ( das ist ok) leider hat aber trotz vorausgegangener Zusicherung die Schlüsselkarte nicht funktioniert. Unnötiger Stress und Zeitraubend. Geschäftlich bin ich oft in ähnlichen Apartments und kann sagen, Preis/Leistung stimmt hier nicht.
PS abgenutzter Teppich in den Gängen vermittelt bereits beim reinkommen einen schlechten Eindruck

Gladon is the way to see Lucern the easy way
Pros:

Location and cleanness. Very convenient to stroll near by the lake and to the city center. Spacious apartment. Tech wise (auto check in and check out) works perfectly.

Cons:

For the price it would benefit having a generous breakfast service.
