I recently stayed a week at Montecarmo12 Boutique Hotel in Lisbon and left feeling relaxed, inspired, and eager to return. The staff was consistently attentive and welcoming, the rooms stylish and comfortable with a small balcony. The location offered a peaceful retreat while remaining convenient to Lisbon’s vibrant neighborhoods, and breakfast started each day on a high note with thoughtful variety. A surprising touch was the thoughtful gifts left in my room: a baby bottle of port, pastéis de nata, macarons, and a farewell box containing the hotel’s handcrafted bath products, which added a memorable, personalized finish to an already exceptional stay.
Beautiful, spacious rooms in a minimal style. Loved the marble bathroom - especially the showers and giant tub. Breakfast was fantastic - prepared fresh by Chef Niko, who you can watch if you choose to sit in the kitchen longtable. Very much appreciated the service and help from Catarina with check-in/out and more!
I read other reviews so I anticipated that there was not as much "traditional storage" for item (i.e. drawers, etc.) (There is some underbed storage, but it's a bit hard to get to things that way...) So it would be nice to have something to store my items in that didn't make it so "exposed" in the room.

Everything was great!
Well what could be better is the curtain that's because of fabric easy to get mold. The soaps are ment to he sustainable but when we asked they are trown away and renewed every stay which is not very sustainable:). The rest was all good.
Staff fantastic, great breakfast, excellent design and comfort.

The location was great. The room was comfortable.
There was literally no staff at the hotel after 4pm. No receptionist, no concierge, no room service, no one to ask for a towel, ice, nothing to assist hotel guests in any way. If there had been a malfunction with air conditioning or shower or some sort of actual emergency, that would been a big problem.
