A visit to the past in a rustic ranch style accommodation. Perfect for Liberia
Pros:

It was like a retro stay in a ranch style accommodation.

Cons:

The pool liner was needing attention. But it did not bother my stay.

Nice, relaxing, and budget friendly spot for a night before travel day!
Pros:

Right near the airport for ease of travel, and such a bonus to have a restaurant with good food right there so you don't have to go anywhere. The bartender was so nice and gave us ice and glasses to chill our wine!

Cons:

The pool was huge and it was so nice that there is a separate kiddie pool. Because it was surrounded by trees, it definitely catches a good bit of leaf debris and bugs, but that can't really be helped. The detergent they use on the sheets was a bit strong for our sensitive skin.

Cons:

La forma en la que resuelven las situaciones, se nos presentó una situación y en lugar de resolverla de inmediato, se esperaron a que fuéramos a tomar el desayuno para decirnos que no estaba incluido. El desayuno estaba feo y solo había una opción.

No fridge in the room. No hot water for showering. They checked another room that they were going to move us to
and there was no hot water there either as it was in the same block. Eventually after an argument and refusal by the management to refund me for my second night we were moved to another room at the front of the hotel that had hot water. We were given an ice box as my wife needed to keep her medication cool. The weather in Costa Rica is hot, why on earth would you not have a fridge in the room. Every other hotel we stayed in had one. There was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee, milk nor sugar. When we were moved to the other room it was the same. We had to ask for the coffee as we were told it was complimentary and it should have been in the room.
The hotel management refused to speak to me in person and did it through the receptionist who was very kind.
