A Wave From it All Beach Resort

Apartment not cleaned well( dirty floor , cupboards and kitchen ware ), microwave not working . Only 1 mug !!! So couldn’t both drink tea together. No blankets. Fridge leaking and kitchen sink leaking to cupboard below .lots of apartment needs attention. Informed owners and messaged reply , were told staff would come next day to sort issues and clean but no one turned up and no more communication from owners .apartment is advertised with a sauna but not the case . So not good

When we arrived, the place was filthy. We were suppose to have a key for entry to the pool, sauna, fitness room...but no key. We had to wait until the office opened the next day. Floors unswept, microwave doesn't work and the cord is propped up by 4 books to try to make the cord work (major fire hazard. Needs new receptacle), glass doors and dishwasher door smeared with kids food/fingerprints, hair on shower floor, bathroom sinks/faucet with toothpaste spit, both bedroom ceiling lights don't work, kitchen utensils in drawers with crumbs all over them, pot holder dirty with food spills, the furniture had thick dust. For the price we paid, it is a rip-off. I'm 64 yrs old and have NEVER stayed at a dirtier place.

We chose this place because it had a hot tub too. It's down due to wiring issues for indefinite time.

I did complain and let people know. So they sent in cleaning and maintenance people the 2nd day. I left a cleaning list! Most of it was done. Maintenance changed 1 light bulb and nothing else was fixed. But to pay $693 for 3 days, you shouldn't have to have cleaners and maintenance issues while you are there.

We will never go back here. Don't waste your money or time. If we could have left and got a refund, we would have in the first 30 minutes of arriving.

The condo looks better in the photos. The facility was not clean. Dirty floors, roaches crawling on the walls, towels smelled of mildew, sinks were clogged with hair and maintenance closet was open and full of debris.property owner didn’t reply when notified about issues

So far from grocery store

First to start off I drove 11 hrs from Texas to this unit and emailed to request the early check in because I would be arriving between 2-3pm. I recvd an email back confirming that arrival time. When I get there at 230pm and go in the unit, someone else’s stuff was thrown in the middle of the floor and there other bags were still there. After calling I’m told I can still go in and the person before me that had mis understood what time they needed to leave would just come in and get his stuff and then go. Umm NO. I don’t even know the person on the phone telling me this nor the random person that’s stuff is still there. So I had to wait until 345/4pm to even go in the unit. The unit was very dirty and grunge. There were holes in the wall that were patched up but not painted. The scratches, scruff marks and dirty crap all over the walls were nasty. The stove was gross. We didn’t use anything in the unit but the toilet and shower because it wasn’t clean. The silverware had rust on it. The yellow chair in the living room looked like it had been there for 20 yrs. It was dirty and stained and smelled. They said they had a cleaning crew but if they do they need to get someone new. Looks like the cleaning crew comes in and changes beds and towels and that’s it. There was 1/2 roll of toilet paper in the whole unit (2 bathrooms) there were 2 of us so that ran out by the next morning. I had to text the same person from the previous day and asked for more I was told it would be a few hours. Didn’t get it until 1pm!! The fridge smelled like fish. So bad that I put my bag of ice in there and took it out to use it the next day and my cooler and ice now smelled like fish. The balcony that Im pretty sure I paid extra for to have a unit with a balcony had bird poop all over it and the table and chairs out there. One of the bedroom doors was off the hinge. One of the dressers was missing the knobs. I paid $850 for 3 nights so roughly $275 per night.

A little farther out than I expected

The ac unit did not have a filter. The evaporater coils were covered with dirt and debris. This can cause damage to the ac unit over time... (a good maintenance team should have caught this)and need to spray for roaches in bathrooms. I understand there's a lot of guests that frequent these rooms and there will be inadequacies but maintenance needs to improve. Overall I like the place and would stay here again.

I can't think of anything that could have been better. We had everything we needed and were furnished with plenty of information about the resort and the unit.
