Central River Room - private WC

Le confort et le fait d'avoir obtenu l'appartement seul car normalement il est partagé. Et Marta a été incroyable !

This super well-equipped apartment was the perfect base for my stay in Bilbao, where I could explore the surroundings (15 or 20 min. walk to the centre, old town, and Guggenheim!). There's a great funicular in the neighbourhood for a spectacular view of the city. I also worked a bit from this apartment; the wifi was strong, and it was quiet enough. Marta also sent over some great tips to enjoy the city.

It’s a nice cozy apartment located close to the old town and the Guggenheim museum. You get a room with a private WC, a comfortable bed, and access to a terrace. The hosts were out of the city during my stay, but Marta shared detailed instructions on how to get there and stayed in touch all the time.

The apartment looks exactly as in the photos. It’s light and clean and has everything you might need during your stay. But what I liked most was the attention to detail. There was a breakfast for the arrival day, toiletries in case you’d forgotten something, an umbrella (which came in handy), a nice selection of books — all the little things that make you feel welcome and make your experience as trouble-free as possible.

Marta shared a list of recommendations for sightseeing, dining out, and day trips that helped me arrange my time in Bilbao. There’s also a travel card you can use for convenient and cheaper travel all around the Basque Country. There’s a bus stop right outside the building and a metro station a few minutes away, but everything is pretty close and accessible on foot (unless it’s a trip outside the city, of course).

The apartment is in a lovely neighborhood. There's a supermarket right across the street, so is the bus stop. It's not far from the train stations and the funicular station. Everything is well considered inside the apartment, everything you may need, including the transport card! The kitchen is also well equipped. Super clean, cozy like a real home. And the hosts are super helpful even I did not stay together with them.

Awesome time in Bilbao and great day trips to Getxo and San Sebastián. Easy walking distance to lots of places (to note only walking up on the lengthy open escalator, not downhill, there is lift a little further but not very obvious). Also need to carry luggage up one floor as there is no lift. Nevertheless, great host with attention to every little details to make us feel comfortable. Dillon is super friendly and helpful with all the tips and info. He helped us carry one suitcase up the stairs. Sharing the bathroom, the kitchen and the living area with the host is not an issue and we did not need to eat out everyday at restaurant. Overall, we are very happy to have chosen the Basque region over the bigger cities this time.

This accommodation was in a fantastic spot, close to everything. The hosts had thought of everything, from having a public transport card ready to be topped up for guests to use, ideas of where to visit, a small but adequate breakfast for the day of leaving (this wasn't advertised as a B&B) and lots of other things. Games for at weather days!

We had a lovely stay at Central River Room - The room itself, the private toilet and shared bathroom with the shower were all clean and well equipped, with attention to a lot of detail (guest card for using public transport, city map, extra toothbrush, extra hairbrush, sleeping mask,...). The host welcomed us warmly and had even made coffee. The place is in close walking distance to the river, we were happy with the location. Full recommendation!

The apartment is really cozy, clean, I loved the balcony and the host is exceptionally nice! She provided me with loads of tips and was in general incredibly welcoming. The apartment is really close to the Centre, the old town, the Guggenheim - you can literally reach anything by foot. There is also a supermarket right in front of it, and the train station is just a few walking minutes away. If I come back to Bilbao I will definitely stay there again!
