Thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Pros:

Staff welcoming, professional and friendly, restaurant nice ambiance with tables well spaced out, food was excellent and good value. Grounds well kept and swimming pool was great. Location ideal if wanting to go for days out.

Cons:

Pillows and mattress were ok for the one night, but not that comfortable for longer.

Pleasant
Pros:

Nice sized rooms

Cons:

Facilities a bit dated.
Currently revamping some rooms we were roomed right above rooms being redone so had to listen to all the noise even though the hotel was nearly empty.

Food amazing, hotel ok.
Pros:

The best part about this hotel is the restaurant, the food was expectational and service very good.

Cons:

Came to relax on a birthday, choosing this hotel as it is marketed as a spa hotel. However, let down by the aqua aerobics fitness class that took place in the spa pool area and the fact the pool was laned? Just wanted to relax but the class was playing loud music through a huge speaker! Doesn't make sense when supposed to be a relaxing spa hotel. The room was spacious and the balcony was nice, but slightly let down by the dusty mirror and couple surfaces that hadn't been properly cleaned.

Great value. A very solid place to stay with good amenities, lovely spa, spacious rooms and friendly staff.
Pros:

I liked the unpretentious atmosphere with friendly staff, spacious comfortable room, lovely spa, decently priced crowd-pleaser meals. I enjoyed the option to eat in the bar for a more relaxed atmosphere. Terrace and garden was lovely. A great playground for kids. Basically very good value.

Cons:

If I’m being picky I’d mention the following minor things :
1) Not a single hook of any kind in the room - so nowhere to hang a wet towel or robe.
2) Jacuzzi was cold - a notice explained it was a ‘bubble pool’ (not jacuzzi) and temperature was supposed to be only 1 degree warmer than the pool. But still it was basically a cold jacuzzi.

Neither of these things detracted from our excellent stay.

Pros:

The set up is fantastic, a spa, a restaurant, we stayed within the Lodges. It had everything we needed to celebrate a family occasion. The staff were fantastic, so welcoming and chatty. I had to ask for some support with our lodge as the fridge and freezer were playing up, and we also need our sink looking at. Maintance came asap and were so helpful. My sister had a massage at the spa. A Facial and said it was the best treatment she had ever received. Also each morning between 7-9 we went for the adult only swim the perfect way to start the day and the pool set up is stunning. Followed by a coffee on terrace the hotel is beautiful.

Cons:

Lodge was a little run down in places but honestly didn't put me off. This was just the oven took ages go heat and the freezer kept bleeping yet the bathroom and shower were great.
