The Lotus Garden provided a pleasant stay with good amenities and attentive staff who were responsive and helpful throughout our visit, accommodating our requests promptly.
While the hotel delivers solid value as a 3-star property, the breakfast offering could be enhanced. Moving to a continental setup with hot options would significantly elevate the morning dining experience and better match guest expectations.
Around outside of our room was a sewer smell. Also the water pressure in the shower was very low.
The owner upgraded us to a bigger room with a huge deck on the ground floor, there was even a teapot & we found a lovely beach bar nearby. Very much a locals hotel & very friendly
Nothing to dislike at all
Nick at the front desk was fantastic and went out of his way to help with anything!
Thank you !!!
The staff even though they don't speak much English, they try their best to communicate with you through translators which really helped us. The property was very clean and an amazing value for money.
The lounge chairs by the pool, this is the only thing I would change as you can only sit, not really lay down
The hotel is quite old so it is not perfect. The staff is great, everything is always neat and clean, everyone is positive. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and when returning to Mui Ne, I will gladly stay there again.
The water in the shower is very thin, you will have to spend more time on the shower than usual, but it is not a big problem. The air conditioner is quite loud, but this is unusual only on the first day.
We were warmly welcomed by Nick at reception, and he spoke great English and was very knowledgeable around all the questions we had on the hotel, the surroundings and the beaches. He then guided us to our bungalow which was very spacious, nicely decorated and in a beautiful part of the garden.
As we were the only guests to have booked breakfast during our stay, we had an individual order every day that was cooked fresh and delivered to our bungalow every morning, it was incredible service! Also, Nick organized a tour of the sand dunes for us, as well as the transfer back to HCMC at the end of our stay.
The kids enjoyed the pool only on the first day as it was a little sandy and had a little too much chlorine in it. The hotel itself does not have its own beach access; there is a beach bar right next to the premises that can be used, but at that part of Mui Ne the sea front consists of a promenade with a low wall towards the sea and stairs into the water if you want to swim (which is not always possible due to the waves).
One big advantage of the hotel was the walking distance to Dong Vui Food Court, what a revelation! Delicious food, great atmosphere and nice drinks; we ended up going there every night.
- The beaches within walking distance were very dirty; if you want to have a nice beach front to swim, I would recommend one of the beach clubs along the coast ( we went to Hanna Beach); use the Grab app for quick transport if you do not have a scooter
- The cleanliness within the bungalow could be improved; the bathroom was quite dusty and there was some hair in the living room
- Not the hotel's fault, but there are a lot of mosquitoes near the pool once the sun goes down; make sure to bring some insect repellent.
Perfect location to walk to the bars and restaurants, staff super lovely and helpful, main chap spoke excellent English. The grounds of this little hotel are gorgeous, with a lovely pool. It isn’t on the beach which some of the pics indicate but it’s close by. The room was modern, just a little run down, maybe needs a lick of paint and the shower pressure wasn’t good, and you need to run the shower for at least 5 mins before it gets hot but as long as you know that it’s fine. For the price we paid it was like a palace and we were very happy to stay there. We didn’t have brekkie but it’s a 5ish min walk to the food court which has the most amazing food I have ever eaten, we ate their 6 times over 4 days, trying all the different vendors. Would stay here again for sure.
Shower pressure - that’s it really!
