Cons:

We checked into the hotel but decided to leave after 15 minutes because the room smelled terrible and was very dirty. We reported the situation to the reception and left the hotel. Afterward, I booked a new hotel .

Staff were nice and welcoming, clean rooms and at good size

Cons:

Lack of transparency regarding extra charge for our dog. On the reservation it says pets allowed, however, we were asked to pay £20 when arrived.
Breakfast option is poor. Only one option: English breakfast.

Overpriced
Pros:

Staff were nice.

Cons:

No air conditioning, and the room was very hot, so we had to open the window—not ideal when the hotel is next to a motorway. I was also really annoyed to be charged extra for parking when arriving by car is realistically the only option. To add insult to injury, parking is apparently free if you book directly with the hotel. I booked through Booking.com believing I was getting the best deal, but clearly that wasn’t the case.

As expected for the price.
Pros:

Room was generally good, comfortable enough but very hot in the heatwave. Bathroom was nice. Lots of space to move around.

Cons:

The ground floor room was big enough but the window security felt inadequate.
The fan provided was not great and the cable was not long enough to make it entirely useful.

Arrived at 11.30pm. Charged £5 for parking, then £40 per night for 2 dogs. Almost doubled the cost of the room. Too late to change and wouldn't cancel the booking..
