A memorable weekend stay
Pros:

We got an upgrade to a room with balcony and fireplace! The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and there were many personal touches. This immediately enhanced our enjoyment of the Manoir. We stayed for two nights and spent a full day at the spa which was very relaxing. We enjoyed the food and ambiance at both restaurants and it was a lovely place to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was super kind and treated us with warmth and kindness.

Cons:

We wanted to stay at Manoir Hovey because of the lake scenery but unfortunately it was very muddy so we didn't explore the area too much. It was low season because of the weather so it was quite peaceful. I would like to come back in the Summer or Fall.

Excellent stay. The lakeside setting is beautiful, luxury room with large balcony and fireplace.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent; choice of buffet or menu. The Tap room was perfect for lunch. Good variety of options. Soups, salads, pasta dishes and sandwiches. Le Hatley for dinner was exceptional per usual. Interesting menu options with wine pairings and table d'hote. Everything was delicious and exquisitely prepared. The heated pool was a treat and spa options were great.

Cons:

Ice skating was listed as an activity and we were excited but the location was not at the Manoir but in Magog about 15 minutes away.

Très agréable car l'emplacement est magnifique
Pros:

Le Spa est superbe.

Cons:

Le chalet que nous avions etait un peu "dans son jus" ce qui justifiait le prix pas trop élévé pour 4 chambres. Cela nous convenait mais ce n'est pas une prestation R&C.
Les petits déjeuners étaient décevants. Pas très healthy. Pas du niveau R&C.

There was construction early in the morning- drilling, and then shoveling snow of the roof during breakfast. This work could have been done later in the day when guests weren’t there.

Very relaxing. Excellent breakfasts and outstanding main dining room cuisine!
Cons:

One of the cleaning staff stank to high heaven. It was so bad that we had to open windows and doors until the bad odour dissipated. We have never encountered this problem in any of our travels nor any of our stays at Hovey Manor over the 30 plus years that we have been guests.

Pros:

Food is great (Bistro Le Tap Room). Amenities are wonderful - stayed at the Cartier Cabin and would highly recommend. Reservation was in October so perfect for the colors.

Cons:

It would be nice for beer drinkers that the beers (2) provided by the property at the start of our stay would be restocked daily. Otherwise, wonderful stay.

The gem of the eastern townships
Pros:

Everything was perfect, the staff is really helpful and take care of you during your stay, the spa is awesome and the restaurant is top notch, really special.

Pricey, but you get what you pay for and a bit more :-)

We looked so forward to our stay but we will not be returning.
Pros:

Lovely setting
Beautiful spotless pool

Cons:

Dinner in the pub restaurant was sub par as was the service.
Gnocchi was sticky and gooey.
Beet salad was delicious.
Serving staff seemed in a rush to have us order and complete our dinner.
Breakfast was so so and very expensive for what was offered.

The bed in our room was very small and uncomfortable. Not what I expected from a chateau and relais property .
