Important information:

Please note that when traveling from Skipton, leave the town via the A629 for Keighley. When you reach Kildwick join the A629 Trunk Road at the roundabout (2nd exit) you can go right on the next roundabout (3rd exit) and proceed to the T juction, taking left at the traffic lights on to the B6265 for Keighley. Before reaching the town, the Dalesgate Hotel is on your left hand side in approx 1.6 miles.

Guests should approach from Haworth & Halifax on the A629, heading for Keighley. As you reach the town, at the first roundabout, take the second exit then go left at the traffic lights on to North Street. Go straight forward at the next lights (Carnegie Library is on your left) through the town to Skipton. When you reach the next roundabout go straight forward, (1st exit) on to B6265 for Skipton. The Hotel is then on your right at Utley in about 0.8 of a mile.

If approaching from Lancashire, take sharp left as you reach the end of Cross Hills Main Street and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the A629 Trunk Road.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

Looking for a big room, comfy big big bed and delicious breakfast. Stop here!
Pros:

Funny not meeting anyone because of the self check in. It all worked well. Large room, bit of road noise but not late on. Very generous tea and coffee in rooms. Excellent breakfast, large portions of egg and delicious bacon. Friendly lady at breakfast.

Cons:

Room a little tired.

Worked perfectly for us
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing and had do much to offer. Slight hiccup with our room, but this was sorted with a 20 minute phone call

It would benefit if a lift was installed

Good location and great staff but bathroom needed attention and price was high for the quality
Pros:

The woman who did the housekeeping and breakfast was very helpful. The bedroom was clean. The breakfast was very good.

Cons:

The bathroom badly needed some attention. The toilet seat was loose. I reported it on the first day (Friday) but it was not fixed by Sunday. The bathroom radiator was badly rusted. Some of the wallpaper was pealing.
Given the standard of accommodation and services available I thought the price of the room was expensive

Easy check in, good breakfast
Pros:

Easy to access the building and the room, smart TV in the room, and smart heating. Bed was ok, breakfast was really good and redeemed the stay. Can order what you want with a continental selection as well. The lady that worked in the mornings was lovely, worked very hard and very friendly. A real asset to the hotel. Ample parking at the rear of the building.

Cons:

The room we had needs some tlc, unsure whether it was good value, but the room did the job.

No fuss. Just what you need for a quick stay.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast, very easy to book, no fuss on the self check-in, and the room was as expected.

Cons:

From a personal perspective, the mattress in the room was incredibly soft (bit like sleeping for a beanbag). Not my favourite, but not an actual fault with the room.
