Great location & value for money!
Pros:

Location, price, private courtyard was amazing!

Cons:

There was a few cockroaches, the only way to accomodation was stairs but we understand this was reflected in the price.

The location. It's central, but also in a noisy commercial area.

Cons:

It's not really a hotel, but a bar full of gambling machines (a mini-casino) that rents out rooms on the upper floors. It has poorly equipped shared bathrooms and a small kitchenette that I didn't use. Upon arrival, you're forced to pay an exorbitant deposit of AUD 100, which I'm still waiting to get back (I've been told it could take up to a month!).

Nice stay on a budget
Pros:

The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it back home 🤣 and the staff were so nice and accommodating.

Cons:

I would”ve liked a little bottle of conditioner when I had my shower

Pros:

The location is ok near many restaurants. Staff was nice. AC works. The room is nice, but tiny.

Cons:

It is quite busy area and you can hear a lot of noises. The walls are thin and you can hear everybody showering and going to the toilet etc. But you don't hear noises below from the bar. I didn't really like to give all my credit card details to them. Breakfast would be nice. WIFI works only in the bar, not in the room.

Leider gab es Kakerlaken im Bad und im Zimmer, Check in verlief sehr schwierig, wartete 1 Stunde auf die Besitzer und bekam keine Antwort. Unter der Woche war eine sehr laute Feier auf der Terrasse, welche bis spät in die Nacht ging

Staff had no idea. Was Rudely woken at 1am and told I had to change room as they had put me in the wrong room.

Really hard to open the exterior door to get back into the property after hours. I actually couldn’t open it and was locked outside for ages

Great rooftop retreat!
Pros:

The room was great, even with the shared bathroom, the apartment was clean and big, and I'm only sorry that the weather was too bad for me to take proper advantage of the rooftop courtyard. I think it was a record heatwave, and the aircon made a valiant effort to keep me alive.

Cons:

The shared bathroom is probably a sticking point for a lot of people, I found it clean, and there was only one occasion when I had to wait to use the facilities.
The only big problem I had was that the tap water tasted very bad in my room. There was a drinking water spigot, but either the city water is bad or the filter is desperately in need of changing, I had to go and buy water (not good in the heat wave!!)

Decent value for a good bed, but no wifi and a leaky AC unit
Pros:

Comfy bed and spacious room. Didn’t have any trouble with noise and stayed there on a Saturday (granted they didn’t rent out the top part any time I was there)

Cons:

Wifi didn’t work in my room, and the AC unit leaked water onto my head while I slept. TV didn’t work either
