Pros:

Bed was great - staff friendly and happy to help.

Cons:

The stairs were narrow and annoying to manoeuvre with luggage, bathrooms could use an update and better ventilation - mould in some areas of the shower.

Good value, comfortable stay, friendly staff.
Pros:

The room was bright, airy, clean, well appointed, and comfortable.

The location was also super convenient, just a minute's walk from the gig I was attending.

Cons:

I would have liked an in-room safe. Also, a mini fridge in the room would be a great addition. There is a shared fridge in the common area though.

Enjoyable experience in a very handy location
Pros:

location is excellent, the staff we met were great and the price was very reasonable. Despite the things that I said need improving, I rate this place and would stay again

Cons:

the long life milk in the fridge was out of date so unable to make a cuppa, the room could have done with 2 small stands to place your suitcase / port on and the pillows on the bed were not comfortable

Wasn't open when we arrived from the airport and we had to find a hotel in a strange city at 11: 00 pm. It took us 2 hrs of walking to find a 24 hr hotel.I had to pay an extra $265.00. Not happy. No one notified us that there was a time change that day. We went straight from the airport when we landed. Smoke, cochroaches,no hair dryer or iron. Communal shower and the floors were always wet and slippery and dangerous. I had to grab the towel rack in order not go fall. Not enough towels and no hand towel or paper towel in wash room to dry ouf hands.

The Terrace Room is really awesome

Cons:

The staff were too overbearing but they were polite. I just didn't like them getting the ID cards of all my guests. Also criticising me for having visitors.

Pros:

Great location right in the centre of all the action. Room was spacious and it wasn't as noisy once I decided to call it quits. You have to check in at the bar but it's pretty quiet. Lovely staff. Easy experience.

Cons:

If you need it to be quiet to sleep, you picked the wrong location! Also there are stairs, which I didn't mind, but you might! A lot of stairs!!

Pros:

Clean, comfortable room in a great location. Luxuriously comfortable bed, climate control and good facilities. At around $100 per night its phenomenal value for this level of comfort.

Staff, location and room all excellent for our overnight stay.
Pros:

Excellent location. Only 1 km to Central Train station and Botanic Gardens. Neat well thought out accommodation area for small number of people. Quiet despite being on a busy street. We arrived late and had no problem checking in.

Cons:

Sharing a bathroom that was for females but being used by males. No lift to upper floor so we struggled with our bags lugging them up.
