The level of filth here is staggering. I found human hair scattered around the floor and even inside the trash can. Speaking of the trash can, the lid was covered in what appeared to be mold and grime—an item that should be sanitized daily was visibly encrusted with filth. The walls throughout the room are a graveyard of scuffs, dirt, and mystery stains that look like they haven’t seen a sponge in years.

Cons:

I have never stayed in a hotel that felt so fundamentally "unclean." This property is being marketed as a 4-star experience, but the reality is a masterclass in neglect, deception, and poor hygiene. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the promotional photos are a complete work of fiction.

The bathroom is beyond outdated; it is a health code violation. There is visible mold spreading across the ceiling and the wooden slats above the shower. To make matters worse, the sink was severely cracked, and the plumbing fixtures are rusted and poorly maintained. I felt grossed out just standing in the shower.

This hotel is a lie. They advertise 4-star amenities, including a bar, which does not exist. The images provided online are clearly manipulated or from a different decade. There is no luxury here—only peeling paint, cracked porcelain, and stained furniture.

Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit.Ein besonderes Lob gilt Cherry Dao für hervorragenden Service.
Pros:

Frühstück war gut, hat gut geschmeckt. Alles war da, was man wünschte.
Das Personal war hifsbereich. Wir waren zufrieden.

Die Lage war eine typische Vietnamesische Altstadt. Viele einheimische Geschäfte und gute kleine Restaurants.
Eine nette schöne See war um die Umgebung, da kann mat gute spazieren gehen.

Cons:

Entsprechend der Hotelkategorie kann man nicht besser wünschen.

First time in Hanoi and we picked a winner!
Pros:

The hotel is perfectly located for Old Town Hanoi & the lake. Breakfasts are excellent too. Front desk staff couldn’t be more helpful, particularly Cherry who was always helpful and sorted our transfer when we left. They also gave an amazing restaurant recommendation and booked it for us (Cai Mam).

Cons:

The payoff is that the lower floor rooms facing the street are noisy…ask for an upper floor
