Mano est un super humain avec une très belle énergie. Il sera là pour vous aider au mieux et parle très bien anglais, nous avons donc pu échanger sur tout type de sujet et c'était très agréable.
La cabane est simple mais efficace avec vue sur la lagon, vraiment un petit havre de paix avec toutes les commodités et même le wifi.

Manoj is a truly wonderful host — kind, caring, and always respectful of space. The cabin has a warm, personal atmosphere with creative artwork and stories on the walls. Breakfast (masala dosa!) was delicious, and conversations with him felt meaningful and authentic. The beach is also close by, making it easy to enjoy the area.
The cabin is very basic (fan, no air conditioning) and the toilet is shared with Manoj. For us this was perfect, but travelers expecting hotel-style comfort should be aware.
Manoj is the best host, so kind, thoughtful, and caring! His house is in a quiet chill part of Batticaloa, between the ocean and the lake, so beautiful. So lucky to have stayed there.
I loved everything. The little Cabana is very comfortable and gives you enough airflow even on hot days.
The location is stunning as it is situated between a lagoon and a beach. Sunset can be seen just from the cabana or you can walk to the tip of the beach where the ocean meets the lagoon for epic sunset views.
The best part of the stay in the host Manoj who is a very warm welcoming human! It's not called for no reason soul connection:) thank you Manoj and I hope to see you again 🙏
Had a great 2 days here enjoying the beautiful quiet spot looking over the lagoon with the beach 5 minutes away. The host is a gentle hospitable person who made my stay special. The facilities are basic but sufficient and the location makes up for its lack of luxury.

Manoj is a very friendly host. He made our stay very special. You can feel that hosting and meeting people at soul connection is his passion by heart.
We enjoyed our stay with him very much.
You should go for the cabana, it's beautiful, handmade and some things are made of reused wood. You can sleep with a fresh breeze and view of the lagoon. It's magical.
Manoj offering as much tea and water as you can drink and takes care of you. Food is also tasty and we explored some local cuisine with him.
It's a very peaceful place. A beautiful beach is nearby and you can explore the lagoon as well. In walking distance there is also a place for lunch.
The room is really nice and close to the beach
As a solo female traveler I didn’t really feel comfortable there, since it is really remote and you are staying at his house. But I told him this and he was really so nice about it, so I think he is actually super nice. It was more just my feeling at this time, I think he is actually trustworthy. Maybe just more comfortable if you are a man or a couple.
