Roam Yoga & Wellness Lodge

If you enjoy nature, a simple atmosphere, yoga, and delicious mostly vegetarian food, this is a wonderful place to stay. The owners’ great taste is reflected in all the little details. We truly loved our time here, and it’s also fantastic value for money.

Amazing restaurant that caters to all diets, starting with a vegan base. Delicious and gourmet. You need to give them advance notice if you want dinner (they tell you the menu at breakfast). We stayed for 3 nights, ate dinner once, and had dessert another night. We used the basic (no toaster or microwave) shared kitchen to make other meals. The blender was useful.

Amazing property. Beautiful gardens. Great views. Well maintained and cleaned. Private and safe. Easy water taxis, but you may not want to leave.

Great wildlife. Many red frogs on the trail to Hospital Point. Great snorkeling off their dock. Resident caiman in their pond. Sloth sightings from our balcony. Hummingbirds everywhere. Bug and frog noises all night.

We attended one yoga session (our first in 10 years) and enjoyed it. We used their snorkeling gear, kayaks, and paddleboards to explore the coast.

We had a wonderful stay. From the very moment we made the booking, we had excellent communication with Meghan and Ryan, providing all the necessary details and information.
We truly loved the location, surrounded by beautiful nature and a peaceful atmosphere. It was very clear that great care is taken to protect and respect the environment, which we deeply appreciated.
The room was extremely clean and very well maintained, food at the restaurant was also excellent, fresh and delicious every time.

Localização tranquila, em meio a uma floresta preservada e jardins encantadores, perto das ilhas mais movimentadas em 5 a 10 minutos de lancha.
Para quem prefere estar mais distante do agito e barulhos das festas, é perfeito!
Não tem praia com areia, mas pode mergulhar do pier e nadar ou ver os corais com máscara e snorckel disponíveis na pousada
A comida é deliciosa, com cardápio diferenciado e variando a cada dia, preparada com ingredientes frescos e saudáveis.
Os donos do hotel, Meghan e Ryan, são bastante atenciosos!

Goede kamer met uitzicht op de prachtige tropische tuin ! Het was er heerlijk rustig.
Meghan en Ryan gaven goede tips over wat te doen en hoe je met de watertaxies omgaat.
Het eten was geweldig. Er wordt vegetarisch gekookt ( vlees of vis als optie ) met verse en gezonde ingrediënten! Het zag er ook prachtig uit op je bord. Verder kon je gebruik maken van de sup of kayak. En er werd Yoga gegeven. Hiervan hebben we geen gebruik gemaakt.

It was a beautiful setup at the ocean and amidst the jungle. It felt absolutely quiet and serene. A place to fully unwind.
Very romantic and ideal for a couple, I may say. I ,as a single traveler, enjoyed it very much, too. However, it could also feel a little lonely if you are not used to stillness and contemplation. Every guest enjoys the privacy of this location.
The rooms are wide with huge windows only covered by netting with spectacular vistas. Clean ; comfortable beds; airy, French press for making coffee, filtered water from the tap, multiple ceiling fans. Then the cooking (breakfast and 3 course dinner option , you can buy lunch a la carte) are delicious- farm to table, local organic, great recipes to be enjoyed on a terrace right above the ocean. A pond with a resident caiman and sloths in the trees. A Footnote: One must be reasonable fit to climb a fair amount of stairs up to your room. Many thanks for a wonderful stay. :-)

Det var et fantastisk sted, vi elskede både vores hytte, yogastudiet og restauranten, hvor vi fik morgenmad og aftensmad hver dag - maden var virkelig lækker. Ejerne var enormt søde og hjælpsomme og hele stedet bar præg af et godt blik for detaljer, som gjorde det til en rigtig god oplevelse.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben we gehad! Hele mooie plek. Super fijne bedden. Lieve eigenaren, maar het allermeest; het fantastische eten!

Roam Yoga and Wellness Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The location, in a secluded ocean-side spot on Isla Solarte is ideal, a true haven. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a view into the forest and the ocean beyond.
We ate all meals at Roam’s restaurant, which were superb, extremely healthy, creative, original and tasty.
Meghan and Ryan, our hosts, were very warm and welcoming. They offered advice on things to do in the area, and arranged tours and water-taxis as needed.
Our stay could not have been better, a truly memorable experience.

This lodge is a hidden treasure of Bocas del Toro. It is situated on beautiful Isla Solarte, a bit away from parties and resorts, which is a good thing, because it allows you to feel connected with the beautiful island and the wonderful jungle surrounding this lodge. Prepare for total immersion in nature while sleeping in beautiful bungalows equipped with nets preventing any insects from biting you, while still experiencing the immersion.
This lodge is still well-connected with a water taxi to other islands, so you will spend your day discovering wonderful beaches while meditating with birds and other animals during the rest of the day.
This lodge also has a restaurant preparing top meals, so you won't need to jump to water taxi to Bocas Town just to eat something. Their meals are top quality and very original.
There is a small area of sea reserved for snorkeling and paddle-boarding, with equipment to be rented for free. Amazing!
This lodge is run by Meghan and Ryan; they are very friendly and helpful, and you will love them. They will provide all the hints and tips you may need.
This lodge is a great fit for anyone who likes yoga and meditation (group yoga lessons on site).
