They allow dogs in the cabins so they have a very bad odor

In the motel section, carpet with stained spots, bathroom floor and tub dirty, our devices kept falling out of the outlets that was super loose, only outlet for our devices that worked was in the bathroom! Not clean. We moved to an older cabin, better yet not impressed. Blinds broken and dusty, the shower workmanship was sloppy, dust on the curtains. Floor felt gritty. For the beginning of the season, I expected Cleanliness at least! The website is VERY misleading with the beautiful cabins ONLY! Rate was fine. The motel and older cabins looked like a bandaid!

There were dirty towels and even used towels in the shower. The lamps didn’t work and were dirty. It was cold in the room.

The cabins were not ready for guests. There were no TV remotes in either cabin we stayed in on two different nights. Both nights we stayed, the worker was walking around to different cabins with a box of remotes. No continental breakfast as advertised. Toilet handle was frozen the second stay so obviously the cabin had not been cleaned since last fall. Floors did not look like they'd been cleaned....you could see the dust and dust balls. The jets on the jacuzzi tubs both nights had not been cleaned out so there were particles in the water. The heater didn't work the first night so they moved us to a different cabin. I was able to get it to work at first but the fan was covered in so much dust, I suspect that's why it shut off and couldn't be restarted. No one bothered to turn on the heat in any of the cabins we were in so I had to wear a coat for the first 4 hours. We tried turning on the overhead fan to push the heat downward....once we turned the fan off because it was blowing in the wrong direction, it was completely covered in dust. The second stay, one of the couch cushions had a huge stain on it. The living room lamp didn't work and there was a flashing light in the bathroom that we finally unscrewed. These are easy fixes so I'm wondering why no one is paying attention to the details. This could have been an excellent stay....the main large cabin structures are fantastic.

The room was dirty. The bathroom door kept getting stuck causing my kids to get locked in multiple times.

No microwave in the room, when I booked the room it said a pool and a hottub, there was no hot tub, we had access to the Waterpark which had a hot pool which was nice but not the same as a hottub. The listing online also said we were right on the beach, we weren't, it was across the street.

I didn't like the cleanliness of the pool. The water park was cold. and our shower had a clump of hair in it with an empty shampoo bottle resting at the top of the shower. I had to clean it before I was able to use it.

The management needs to do major rehab on this hotel it is filthy and everything is broken.

Our TV didn’t work, there was a light out in the room so it was super dark most of the time, and a lot of bugs in the bathroom due to the small window located in there.
