Check the room before unloading stuff.
Pros:

Access to the waterpark and the location was nice.

Cons:

The room we were originally placed in had black mold all over the bathroom ceiling. The staff was very understanding and moved us to a new room, which ended up having a big hole in the shower, so we had to move a 3rd time. The 3rd room’s bathroom had very obviously not been cleaned, as there was hair in the shower and floss sticks on the floor. This was incredibly tough with 2 kids - one being a baby.

We were in Mackinaw so it was lovely overall.
Pros:

I liked how friendly the front desk was. I enjoyed the location.

Cons:

I didn't like the cleanliness of the pool. The water park was cold. and our shower had a clump of hair in it with an empty shampoo bottle resting at the top of the shower. I had to clean it before I was able to use it.

- The door jammed and we were unable to open the door to exit the room!
- It took a solid 2 minutes of two adult males to get the door open!

- A small thing ... the TV remote did not work.

Good.
Pros:

Cabins at the front of the resort are nice.
I was not put in one of those originally, after asking to be moved they were able to accommodate my request for a small upcharge.
Location was good and an easy walk to shops and dinner.

Cons:

Just the cabin I was originally put in, cabin 322. When I went to the cabin it was OLD AND OUTDATED, not anything like the ones up front. I asked to be moved. I was put in Cabin 305 out front- SO MUCH NICER!
Glad they were able to get me moved!

It was ok. But will probably not stay there again.
Pros:

It was cleaned up but not clean. Carpet was damp underneath and room was mucky smelling, not fresh. Furniture was dated but not in a nice eclectic way. Was quiet. Was convenient to everything.

Satisfied.
Pros:

I liked the price and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Wifi was nice bit it didn't always work. Ultimately I enjoyed staying here and will be back, but in one of the bigger cabins :)

Cons:

No microwave in the room, when I booked the room it said a pool and a hottub, there was no hot tub, we had access to the Waterpark which had a hot pool which was nice but not the same as a hottub. The listing online also said we were right on the beach, we weren't, it was across the street.

They lead you to believe there are only cabins but hidden behind them and not picture anywhere is a motel. We were lucky to get somewhat of an updated room however the bathroom was an electrical nightmare waiting to happen!

I loved the location and rustic cabin feel and vibe to it!

Cons:

Our TV didn’t work, there was a light out in the room so it was super dark most of the time, and a lot of bugs in the bathroom due to the small window located in there.

The bathroom window was unlocked and the A/C blew directly across the bed so you were either freezing or hot if you turned it off. Unsatisfactory placement of the A/C. I asked for a lower floor unit and was put on the second floor with no elevator. At 70, it's hard lugging a suitcase up a flight of stairs. I almost fell backwards twice.
