Zimmer neu renoviert. Die Lage war sehr gut

Cons:

Uralte Fenster, die man nicht komplett schliessen uns veriegeln konnte, obwohl leicht von aussen zugänglich. Zu wenig Personal - bemüht, aber beim Frühstück leicht überfordert - hoher Geräuschpegel.
Die Zimmer sind nur über mehrere Treppen erreichbar.

Great location. Lovely views and handy for the Craignure Ferry and ferries further to the north.
The Spa was fine but closed too early in the evening.

Cons:

The service is somewhat chaotic. The staff needs more or better training especially in the breakfast area as they couldn't cope with a busy roomful. No one seemed to know who was doing what.

Une grande déception
Pros:

La situation géographique commode à proximité du terminal de ferry.
La vue magnifique depuis la réception et la salle de restaurant depuis les tables près des fenêtres.
La propreté de la salle d'eau.
La piscine.

Cons:

La chambre exiguë, défraîchie et sans vue, à un prix plus qu'excessif.
La fenêtre à la menuiserie en fin de vie et qu'on peut à peine entrouvrir.
Le lit qui serait confortable s'il ne grinçait pas.
Les couloirs tristes, tortueux et interminables.
Le restaurant dont les tarifs sont sans commune mesure avec la qualité des plats, renchéris au surplus par un supplément de "service" imposé et inattendu.
La présentation de l'hôtel sur son site internet qui laisse espérer tout autre chose que la réalité.

Geschmackvolle Zimmer und ein toller Blick aufs Wasser.
Pros:

Es gab ein typisch schottischen Frühstück. Toast wurde getoastet an den Tisch gebracht. Müsli gab es in allen Variationen.
Der Blick aufs Wasser beim Frühstück oder Abendessen ist unbezahlbar.

Es wurden viele Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt; in allen Größen.

Cons:

Der Kaffee ist jeweils aus einer sogenannten French-Press mit teilweise viel Kaffeesatz.

Im Spa-Bereich sind keine Liegen.

The perfect base for exploring the island. Our room was comfortable and we really enjoyed the breakfast. We booked the Wilderness Deck for one afternoon which was brilliant, the private hot tub, sauna and cabin overlooking the sea was so peaceful!
