Pros:

When searching apartments, this one came with high ratings. I would agree that the location of the apartment is great as its close to several metro stations and walking distance to Dotonbori and Kuramon market. Laundry in suite (soap provided) with drying function in shower and line on balcony. Small amount of kitchen essentials (fridge and freezer). Room was spacious.

Cons:

However, with all the positive options that come with this apartment, it needs to be noted that the carpet was disgusting. It was stained with food and dirt and the amount of hair we saw showed that it had not been cleaned/vacuumed properly before check in. I reached out to the managers and they said they would provide a sticky roller for us to use. The roller was provided with a giant hairball attached to it. They stated the stains were wear and tear, but they were actual food droppings and stains. They were very receptive and did want to rectify the situation by sending someone to steam clean the carpet the next day and it was a bit better. It is a good place, but the cleaning needs to be stepped up (dust the microwave area) and maybe replace the carpet.

8/10, needs minor improvement to make the room more practical
Pros:

Location was ok, a good 15 min walk to any station.
The best of this place is washer and super strong bathroom dryer fan, a mid-weight hoodies is dried overnight. Kitchen is a plus, but needs tongs and knife to do any type of cooking, Daiso is nearby so that's not a problem. I know knife might be weird to provide in Japan but having a tongs should be fine.
AC/Heat is strong.

Cons:

The pots handle is not stable.
Needs a hand towel rack by the mirror.
Tub's water heater/warmer doesn't seem to work, hot water is great for the shower, it's the water temperature for the bath that doesn't seem to be working

Cons:

The fact that there are “40” other buildings all named the same, is a bit deceiving..
Whilst it shows a “non smoking” building, our hotel room absolutely reeked of smoke. I will give it to the staff they attempted to resolve this with an air freshener, but unfortunately didn’t make our stay any more comfortable.

The front door seal wasn’t installed properly and all night long all we ever heard was a ringing whistling sound. Not to mention a noisy fridge that we had to unplug to sleep through the night.

Overall, for the relatively high price paid we aren’t happy with our stay. Our previous hotel during our trip were far more reasonably priced and much more to offer.

Underwhelming - spend more to save yourself
Pros:

Customer service was helpful.

Cons:

Unclean carpets and a smell in our original room. Customer service were quick to respond and moved us. Also, location not great. 15 minutes from the closest station.

Spacious rooms near Dotonbori
Pros:

Very spacious rooms - larger than most in Japan. Spotlessly clean with handy washing machine and air dryer in the bathroom which worked a treat for drying clothes + space on the balcony. 15 min walk to Dotonburi and about the same distance to Namba station.

Cons:

There was a large stain on the carpet in our room and a chip on the bathroom sink. Once I highlighted these to the staff via chat they promptly offered us a different room and a late check out which was appreciated.

Pros:

Good location. Easy to follow instructions for access and facilities. Good size room. Excellent price. Clothes drying function in bathroom worked very well. Wash clothes at night and by morning all dry. Perfection. Makes it doable to pack very light. Walkable to many Osaka attractions/areas for eating and shopping.

Pros:

It was conveniently located near Namba station, the room was cosy and included a washing machine and dryer room/shower which was a life saver considering all the rain we had.

Cons:

The hairdryer didn't work and it wasn't immediately obvious who to contact to get a different one so we didn't try.
