The airport shuttle service operates in the morning and evening only, and not during the day.
Morning departures are at:
03:55, 04:40, 05:25, 06:10, 06:55, 07:40, 08:25, and 09:20.
Evening departures are at:
17:10, 17:55, 18:40, 19:25, 20:10, 20:55, 21:40, and 22:35.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Clean and pretty

Beds and linens were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with many choices. It is scheduled to be served at 6:30 am however on June 11 there was a delay of about five minutes. We had to catch the 6:55 am shuttle to the airport which did not leave much time to enjoy the wide selection of breakfast food. It would be great if breakfast could be served earlier than 6:30, if only by an extra 15 minutes. Shuttle was on time at 6:55. By 7:45 we had already passed through security at the airport!
Communication with the hotel through the website was inconsistent. First query was anwered with 24 hours but second query was never answered. Hotel website description indicates that free shuttle service is available but the hours are only specified at the very bottom of the page and are easy to miss. It would be great if the hotel description also included the bus stop and route name/number from the train station to the hotel. In our case we chose to walk 3.2 km with our backpack luggage from the airport to the hotel (we're 71 years old). It appears that it is a shorter walk from Diegem train station but we did not figure that out at the time. We walked for the exercise and in the hope of finding a restaurant on our walk to the hotel because we knew there are very few choices for an evening meal in the vicinity of the hotel. However the route on foot is largely through an industrial park with only one restaurant that was already closed for the day. Consequently, we chose to eat at The Holiday Inn Hotel Brussels Airport which is beside the Holiday Inn Express. Our meal consisted of a caesar salad and a pizza, both of which we shared, and one glass of rose. The bill came to 52 Euros or $92 Canadian. The food was good but service was slow until we reminded the waiter after 30 minutes that we were still waiting for our food. Diners beside us, who had not reminded their waiter, waited 90 minutes for their meal. In summary, pay attention to the shuttle hours to avoid disappointment and be prepared for an expensive evening meal.
