Our favourite accommodation in all of Vietnam.
Pros:

This is one of our all time favourite hotels. Walking distance to the old quarter, but across the bridge and a quiet oasis. This is our third return visit. The rooms are a great size. We had Terrace accommodation by the pool, which was just lovely. Great spa too!!

Nothing. All perfect.

Our stay was Amazing

We loved everything about this hotel and loved our stay in Hoi An

Cons:

The only thing I would change is making tea/coffee accessible at breakfast time we had to wait a long time to receive our order over breakfast and in both days had to ask twice. By the time we received our refreshments our breakfast was almost finished.

Beautiful Hotel with Significant Service Gaps
Pros:

This hotel has clear strengths: the property is aesthetically pleasing, the location is convenient, and the breakfast offering was very good.

However, my experience was significantly marred by several critical issues that fall short of 5-star standards. My room had a persistent moldy odor. Furthermore, despite specifically requesting a room with a nice view both during booking and at check-in, I was assigned a room facing a wall for my entire four-night stay.

The most frustrating incident involved the airport transfer. Upon a late-night check-in, I inquired about pickup options and was quoted VND 1,125,000 (~€36). I did not confirm this service. Despite this, a driver was sent, and I was asked to pay. I had, in fact, already pre-booked and pre-paid a transfer for the same ride for approximately €10 via Booking.com. The next day, the manager initially offered a discount on the unauthorized charge but waived it entirely when I objected. While the manager handled this professionally, the initial error and pressure to pay were unacceptable.

Overall, the inconsistency was disappointing. Apart from the manager, the general staff demeanor and service execution did not meet the level of professionalism or attention to detail expected from a luxury property.

Cons:

Given the hotel's premium category and price point, complimentary airport transfers are an essential expectation, particularly within the Vietnamese hospitality market

Okay stay near Hoi An
Pros:

The large bathroom was nice. The bed was large. The room darkening curtains were effective. Rooms not facing the river are quiet.

Cons:

It was necessary to walk across a very narrow pedestrian sidewalk on a bridge to get into Hoi An old town. Morning coffee flavor was not up to expectations.
