Feels like a 4-star hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly come back!
Pros:

Lovely boutique hotel in a charming small town. Easy access to main attractions nearby. The room and common areas are nicely decorated and spotless. The hotel feels very harmonious and relaxing. Pictures do not give it justice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Outstanding breakfast with plenty of options for all tastes.

What a gem!
Pros:

What a find! This beautiful little rural hotel is in the pretty little village of Palau Saverdera just 5 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Roses with its huge bay, multitude of shops and restaurants and long sandy beaches. Palau, although small, has 5 or 6 eateries (including a newly opened takeaway pizzeria just in front of the hotel) and some nice walks in the surrounding woods. But the most important feature of Niu de Sol is not the superbly appointed rooms with everything you could possibly need, super comfy beds and amazing breakfasts which will set you up for the day, but the sparkling personality of Mercè who will give you the best recommendations of things to do and places to go during your stay and make you feel truly at home.
If you’re looking for somewhere with authentic charm, close to all the spectacular sites of the Alt Empordà and a welcoming warmth not found in the larger hotels, stay here!

Très bel hôtel, grande chambre à la décoration sobre et élégante.
Petit déjeûner inclus, choix varié, copieux et à volonté avec jus d’orange frais.
Accueil très sympathique.
Possibilité de boire un verre le soir dans le salon ou sur la terrasse. Le vin proposé à un excellent rapport qualité/prix.
Situé à proximité de Cadaquez qui est magnifique.
