Loved the location, the view, the room was nice, the pool and people working very nice.

Pros:

Location is perfect! Walking distance to some places to eat plus great bar in hotel. The pool is wonderful and much more quiet if you aren't interested in lake one day

Our stay was fabulous. We have stayed at the lake or Inn and spa before. We actually love it. It could use a little main

I liked its charm. I also like all of the old antiques and chandelier that’s in the hotel.

Cons:

I think the pool maybe needs to be resurfaced and scrubbed, and some of the pain is starting to chip off of the outside of the building and it should be fixed. There were some wasp nests in the window areas around the outside of the building. I know it’s an old building so it’s part of the charm I guess?

Was expecting to be in hotel but was in motel type room . The air conditioner was so loud we could not sleep haD to turn it off. Room was very small only had one chair and no closet.

Cons:

Would have like to be in hotel. Would have been nice to have two chairs a table Would have been nice and place to hang clothes had to hang on the one chair in the room.

Pros:

We loved the place so much we booked another trip right away. The staff were amazing and friendly!! Highly recommend staying here!

Would not recommend for family stays or recreation, everything has a price tag
Pros:

Not a lot. Did not enjoy our stay at all. Had to drive a good distance to get food or services. Could have chosen better hotel for about the same money, but thought the hotel was better based on website.

Cons:

Was put up in a less than updated suite. Expected better accommodations by the website. Nothing about not being in the main building and everything being extra and breakfast only served on Monday. Poor quality all the way around

Unique tranquil inn
Pros:

We liked the uniqueness of the place, the history, antique decor and spa bath salts. There are robes in each room, bar and restaurant in the hotel and pool hours are unlimited. Walking distance to a beach and restaurants, and couple minutes drive to Chimney rock.

Disrespectfully and lack of breakfast early in the morning.
Pros:

Location clear to lake.

Cons:

Housekeeper went in to the room while we went out for breakfast and cleared out and cleaned for new check in even we have not checked out and still had room keys with us. She took juices etc out of the room and throw them away. This was disrespectful we felt like you guys kicked us out. If we left computer and jewelry in the room it could be gone by the time we came back to room. We were locky we to value belongings with us. Housekeeper needs to make sure guest are checkout before you go and cleaned room. Then the front desk lady seems not to care did not apologized put sarcastic face and kept walking with no concern. I had to grab a juice from the store cooler to drink my pills. Customer service is not good.
