Room smelled like a mop bucket filled with fabuloso.

It was near the sporting KC stadium

Cons:

The room was damp. The bedding was damp. The room smelled like a mop bucket filled with fabuloso. I turned the AC up to see if it felt damp because it was cold, but then it was just humid and hot and smelled like fabuloso worse. I had to keep the AC on 63 degrees for it to be bearable in the room. If the floor in the bathroom got wet from taking a shower then it was sticky when you walked on it. The pool was closed when I booked a hotel with a pool for a reason.

Good staff but we booked for the pool and there was no refund so we couldn't switch stays

Unclean facility. Would have brought it up but no one asked or seemed to care

We’ve been there before in the past. It was always great. I don’t know if there is new mgt or what but this visit was not good. Pool was closed down by what appeared to be health dept. room was dirty. Found a used towel on a chair. There was a big hole in the bathroom that appeared to be patched up but not finished. Just overall unclean. Ice machine was broken and filthy. Various items just laying around. Elevator had holes cut out that were not covered. This used to be our go to in KC but doubtful we will stay there again after this

Pros:

The people were very friendly, especially Sara, Jessica. Enjoyed spending time at the bar area and socializing with other people staying at the hotel. The breakfast was super good with a wide variety to choose from.

Loved it
Pros:

Would definitely stay here again!

Cons:

The card machine was down, so if we wanted to leave, the front desk had to come open our door for us.
