Chuveiro não esquentava muito.

Estava tudo perfeito / sugestão usar amaciante neutro no enxoval/ não sou alérgico mas o perfume do enxoval estava um pouco forte incomodou na primeira noite

Chuveiro e limpeza da piscina.

The owner was not professional at all. He said that my card didn’t work through booking (he was supposed to try 5 days before the arrival but checked only on the day we arrived) and when we arrived and they didn’t let us in. We tried to understand what was the problem since we paid every other hotel with the same card and had no problems. He sent us an email with a link to pay him outside booking, which is known to be very unsafe. In general everything was very sketchy and I didn’t like the way it was managed. We waited more than two hours in the hotel hall to get in. At the end we sent him a bank transfer and it worked so I don’t think he had bad intentions but the whole process was very stressful unfortunately. If I have to pay directly through the owner it need to be shown in my booking. On the other hand the room was okay and the pool was very nice.

Não tenho nada a reclamar, não tive qualquer problema com relação à hospedagem.

O apartamento parecia contar com janela anti-ruido, mas mesmo assim entrava um pouco de barulho da avenida movimentada. Mas nada de mais. Normal em cidades.

My biggest issue was with the proprietor’s chosen form of payment. We believed that the money would be taken by booking.com upon check in, or a card machine provided by the proprietor to make the payment. Due to the fact that we were booked in for so many day trips/tours and had no internet for the majority of the trip, it took 4 days and a lot of stress and anxiety, for the payment to go through as all of the options given by the proprietor did not accept a foreign card and/or required a Brazilian Bank account. In the end, I had to transfer the money from my Irish Account to a Brazilian Bank account and finally pay via PIX. It was all very stressful and could have been avoided if the proprietor simply used the booking.com payment method. It should be noted that the deposit was paid via the same card/Bank account and there were seemingly no issues with this.

The bathroom smelled a bit due to bad plumbing although this is an overall issue in Manaus and Brazil and therefore not the proprietor’s fault, though I recommend leaving the vent on whenever you can.
The juice provided by the hotel at breakfast is also very watered down.

The plugs in the room were all pushed into the walls, and essentially unusable. It was very hard to find one that our EU adapters fit into without pushing it further into the wall. This was a little annoying, but we managed to eventually find one and share it between us.

The hotel starts cleaning the rooms around 7/8am and we were awoken a couple of times during our stay with a hoover being rammed into the door early in the morning. When asked if they could come back later we were told “no” and continued banging. It was not a nice experience considering checkout is later on and guests are staying in a hotel with the intention of resting and enjoying a holiday. But this was not the proprietor’s fault.
