We liked the space, there were 4 of us and there were plenty of beds and bathrooms to accommodate everyone and be comfortable. We didn’t use the top bunk bed because we have teenage boys and they were kind of big for the top bunk but the sofa bed was fine. The kitchen was adequate. Plenty of plates and silverware but no spatula of any kind, I had to buy one and that is ok. The king size bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it’s ok too. The pools were nice and there’s plenty of them the views are nice but from this apartment there is a view of the lake that has a lot of trash in and around it and the island pool, the wonder works building and the Ripleys believe it or not boat/building. There were some birds and turtles In the lake that can be seen from the balcony. The posting says it’s a sound proof apartment and for the most part I don’t think we heard our neighbors on either side or above or below us but the noise from the garage is very loud. The access to the beach and restaurants and shops was great and my husband’s favorite part of the property. Not having to go far for anything was really nice. Walmart, souvenir shops and anything else is so close.
We didn’t like the noise from the garage especially the garbage man and his trailer that he pulls up and down the sidewalk with the noisiest wheels on the bumpy brick sidewalk. It is sooo loud and it’s at all times of the day and even early morning and late night. We didn’t like the echo in the apartment, every noise from the living room and kitchen can be heard in the bedroom and it’s magnified by the echo. The elevator situation is horrible! More than half the days we were there one of the elevators was out of service. There are two elevators on the end of the property where room 203 is and everyone is waiting all the time. There are 21 floors and most of the stay only one elevator. It’s a good thing we were only on the second floor because if we had somewhere to be at a certain time we could not wait for the elevator. Most of the time when it got to us it was already full and we’d have to wait all over again. The owners have items for people to use in the closet and we definitely appreciated the umbrella and chairs but the tiny little child size wagon with the wheels put on backwards wasn’t helpful at all and please don’t make the mistake of taking that wagon to the beach! It will not work! We had to carry it up and down the stairs and then we had to carry it at the beach it was a huge mistake to try to use it so we wouldn’t have to carry all the bags because we ended up just having more to carry. My husband ended up cutting his heal on the wagon because it’s so small and meant for a child sized person to pull. The living room furniture isn’t comfortable the couch fits 2 normal size people comfortably and then there are two weird chairs that aren’t comfortable at all and they are very small. All the remote controls were broken and the battery cover came off the one in the bedroom every time we touched it luckily they still work for the most part if you can keep the batteries from falling out.
Location, pools
There were no sheets for the sofa bed. There were a couple of times security kept telling adults not to take alcohol in the hot tub. One night they came like 4 times to tell a man that was clearly to iniberated. After the last time security told him and left the man got loud, cussing in front of kids and even threatened people. Security came as the man was getting ready to leave and the man threatened secuity. Security allowed the man to leave and stayed on the property screaming obscenities as he strolled through the property. I felt as though security did not protect the other guests nor the interest of the property
We really enjoyed staying here. Everything was very nice and easy access. The host was very helpful
Room was clean and comfort
Mis communication about supply’s, message stating sofa bed sheets and pillow cases being in the Ottoman in the living room when hidden being stuff in a closet instead. Unit 203 was on the second floor, south garage parking was a pain due to elevator being closed, have to go up multiple sets of stairs cases that brings you to the 4th floor just to go back down to 2nd floor was a inconvenience especially when having young a young child and lots of things to carry.
I like the pools
We have to walk all around the parking north to the room was located on the south parking because is not bridge on the south parking and the elevator all ways bee full
We stayed in 315 we loved the condo it's very clean and the owner was very nice. Great location across from pineapple willys. Has 5 pools, the small one near the lake was our favorite, was less crowded and more kid friendly. Will book again!
The way you have to get to the 3rd floor from the south parking deck. The easiest for us was to park on the very top and take the stairs down to 3rd floor.
The location was too congested being next to pineapple Willy's and beach access.
The elevators were too slow and too few and seldom all worked
The parking was good at first but the south garage needs to be expanded. Parking on the 4th of July was terrible. We couldn't find a spot when we got back to the resort. There were people parked there that didn't have reservations or passes. Not sure how they got in.
Rarely saw staff except for morning and night.
The photos on the site were good but the information provided on the welcome email is outdated and inaccurate. Example , walmart is not open 24 hours and never saw Lorrie Morgan's restaurant.
Staff at the tiki bar near the main pool was awful. She charged me twice and the drinks are over priced and not made right. My card didn't go through first so I gave her a different card but I was charged on both cards. Yes it wasn't much, but you got 24 bucks off me for 2 drinks. That's crazy.
The condo was within close range of everything we wanted to do. Having a full kitchen was nice because we were able to save money by eating in. The condo was large providing plenty of space for 2 teens and a 3 yr old. Having 5 pools was nice, gave you options to pick from but was also nice to go to another pool when one got crowded. The 2 full bathrooms were a huge plus. We were able to get ready faster and be on to our next adventure.
There are restaurants, and souvenir shop, a breakfast shop, and an ice cream shop on the resort which was nice if you didn't want to leave.
Our code to our door rest on one of the day we were there due to being entered wrong 2 manys times. I contacted our host and got fast response and issue resolved.
Despite the few cons I would rent again. My kids enjoyed it there and we had a great time.
I was warned about the elevators and how they can be packed but I didn't expect it to be as busy as it was. It took over an hr to get our suv completely unloaded and up the condo. I didn't like that at night I couldn't turn the ac below 70, my household sleeps with it cold.
The washer was nice to have so we could keep on dirty laundry but the dryer was awful. We did really small loads and things would still take forever to dry.
The condo was clean for the most part. The corner light and wall really needed dusted, you could see all the cobwebs. The light fixtures in the kitchen needed dusting as well. Theres was a couple places the condo had different shades of paint where they had go through to touch up spots. I felt the baseboards also needed wiped down and fresh caulking as it was dirty.
They have beach chairs, wagon and umbrella you can use but the chairs are rusted and I felt the wagon needed bigger wheels. We used it one day and just felt it was more of a hassle and just carried our things to the beach the rest of time.
Loved the convenience of the beach access through Pineapple Willie’s and the many pools and shops available on site.
The view
The walking distance
Location and set up of the condo was absolutely amazing. Facilities were great
The elevator situation at the laketown was not great but the room is on the second floor so it’s not a big deal
The room was nice, clean and spacious.
The south parking garage does not connect to the building. You have to take elevator to 3rd floor take a flight of stairs then go to the building elevator to continue to your floor. Very inconvenient.
I loved the Resort the location and all it had to offer.
I did not like this room in particular (203) I recommend if you get 203 to rebook the cleanliness was not up to par. The ice machine was literally dirty with black mold substance. I reached out to try to get a different room unfortunately I couldn’t. Each room is separately owned and managed. Then the bands that you wear there were only 4 and we had 6 people and one was broken. And the Wi-Fi was horrible.
