Золотая середина между дорогими отелями и дешёвыми гестхаусами в Колабе
Pros:

Не скрою, очень долго выбирала отель в Мумбае, так как это очень непростое дело. Считаю, что отель является золотой серединой между очень дорогими отелями и дешёвыми гестхаусами в историческом центре города - Колабе. Отель староват, но нам достался трёхместный номер с классным видом из окна, мы прибыли ночью, под утро, а номер нас ждал - не пришлось ждать или переселяться, сразу дали большой хороший номер. Завтрак довольно простой и что-то всегда заканчивалось (то чай, то фрукты),но я обычно заказываю масала омлет и мне хватает. Нужно осознавать, что соотношение цена-качество в Мумбае не работает, но считаю, что этот отель выигрывает за счёт своего местоположения прямо в двух шагах от Таджа и за счёт своей шикарной террасы, где мы устроили фотосессию.

Cons:

Следует получше организовать работу на кухне во время завтраков - не хватало то чашек, то масала чая, то фруктов, то столы не убраны. В идеале подавать завтрак на террасе с шикарным видом.

If there was anything to mention it can only be the breakfast would deserve a little upgrade in offerings and the physical atmosphere improved otherwise decent…..

Hygiène à revoir !
Pros:

L’emplacement était top, quartier calme et proche du centre. Le restaurant sur le rooftop était très agréable, avec une très belle vue et la nourriture est très bonne. Le personnel est très professionnel et agréable.

Cons:

L’hygiène et la propreté est à revoir : serviettes de bains tachées, drap taché, présence d’insectes dans la chambre, les murs et les meubles sont abimés et sales.

Exceptional staff
Pros:

The staff were exceptional. They genuinely cared about us, offered us water everything we went out as ut was very hot, tea in our room when we came back, food for our taxi journeys at no extra cost. Unlike large hotels where staff are "trained" this felt like being looked after by family. From reception to the cleaning staff.

Clean, wifi good, air-conditioning worked, lots of hot water and good water pressure made up for the cosmetic appearance .
Also huge bed, clean sheets and not dusty underneath it!

Great location, 8 mins to Gateway to India , right next to the shops on the Causeway

Cons:

The hotel is rather tired, and little things like longer shower curtains would make a difference

Pros:

I liked the value for money — it felt like a good deal for what you pay. The location was decent, the room was clean, and the HVAC/AC worked well, which made the stay comfortable.

Cons:

Breakfast has room for improvement. Nothing was “wrong” exactly, but the overall breakfast setup felt weaker than other hotels — some items weren’t hot enough, and when it got busy there weren’t enough utensils available (for example, I couldn’t find a fork). Eggs were not readily available at the counter and had to be cooked on request, and the omelet I received was quite oily (I had to specifically ask for less oil).
