Sunset INN by Pro-Ema

Excellent restaurant for dinner, average for breakfast.

Sunset Inn at Proema became my home base while in TL for 3 weeks and traveling in and out of Dili and into the municipalities. I was happy to return each time, especially to support a women-led social enterprise like theirs. The breakfast each morning was excellent and dinner at the restaurant was also good. A/C was always working well and internet was strong. They accommodated us with all our needs, like free laundry, luggage storage and drivers/taxis early in the morning. Such wonderful service. They are providing an invaluable gateway to economic opportunity and training for all their students. Stay here!

Wir waren zweimal hier und haben vier verschiedene Zimmer gehabt. Alle Zimmer waren völlig in Ordnung (eines der Familienzimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage im 2. Raum). Die Lage ist ziemlich zentral, man kann in Dili entweder zu Fuß gehen, ein Mikrolet nehmen (völlig unproblematisch!), oder ein Taxi (selten nötig). Das Frühstück war toll und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Getoppt wird das noch vom Cafe im Haus (einmalig!) und den zwei Restaurants, die wahrscheinlich mit zum Besten gehören, was in Dili zu essen ist.

Das Personal ist immer freundlich, aber (da das Hotel auch eine Bildungsstätte ist) manchmal etwas hilflos.

Für lokale Verhältnisse war das WLAN OK.

Es war insgesamt ein richtig gutes Paket! Ein schönes Gebäude, e
exzellente Küche, Frühstück, Lunch und dinner und angenehm dort zu sitzen, freundliches Personal. Kostenloses pickup vom Flughafen, Frühstück im Preis inbegriffen. Vereinbarungen mit der Rezeption sind verlässlich. Jeder Zeit wieder!

Lovely friendly staff

Staff are very nice and they all speak English. Room was spacious and clean.

Airport pickup was smooth and friendly helpful welcome on arrival. Room was comfortable and the aircon did an excellent job. Some traffic noise early in the evening but only one loud vehicle later on, so we slept well.

Mana restaurant is very good indeed, with a wide selection at reasonable prices.

Breakfast was varied, well presented and delicious. Just some little points of interest for your training of staff. It would be helpful if the cereal had a larger spoon to scoop out the cereal. It would often spill with the smaller spoons. We were in Room 221. There were no glasses provided in the room. Would have been good to provide two per room for drinking water. Also a few more black teabags in the room, as well some daily milk in the fridge for a cup of tea would be much appreciated. It was also tricky to have to boil the kettle on the floor. An extension cord to the kettle on the fridge would be helpful. Finally, (please forgive these small details- I ran a bed and breakfast for many years and unless guests said anything, we never knew what to improve on), the hot water in that shower in the room took many minutes to heat up, and I actually thought there was no hot water at the hotel. I was going to suggest that you let people know that there is no hot water, as some guests would be upset not to have a hot shower. My husband just told me though, that he left the shower running for quite a long time one morning while he suddenly had to go to the toilet and when he got back in, the water had started to warm up. I never had any hot water at all, but I didn't mind the cold shower. Are there some rooms that access hot water more easily? Perhaps factor that in when you book people into the hotel.
