UNA FIESTA RUIDOSA EN UN HOTEL ECORELAX.
Pros:

El alojamiento estaba bien pero fue incómodo, ruidoso y fuera de lugar

Cons:

Hubo una fiesta hasta altas horas de la noche que molestaba al resto de huéspedes.
Se trata de un hotel que presume por ser un alojamiento para el relax y la meditación. Cuando llegas te hacen firmar unas “normas de convivencia” para garantizar la tranquilidad. Nos pareció correcto porque sabíamos de su “filosofía”.
El problema llegó cuando un grupo de personas terminó de cenar y el hotel había permitido un karaoke para amenizar a los de la cena y para no dejar dormir a los huéspedes del hotel. Pensamos que sería algo corto pero cuando llevaban más de una hora berreando, nos quejamos y aún así tardaron más de una hora en terminar su fiesta.
La verdad que nos pareció lamentable, pero más lamentable fue su propuesta de compensación con dos vales de 20 minutos de masaje.
Vamos a ese tipo de hoteles para descansar, si buscáramos fiesta iríamos a otros tipo de hoteles.
Creemos que no están alineados su marketing de ecolodge y relax con su realidad y su falta de respuesta ante algo así.

Calme, Sérénités, beauté et qualité!
Pros:

Un des meilleurs établissement que nous avons eu en République Dominicaine. Très bel emplacement en bord de mer avec le bruit des vagues en fond sonore. Beau bungalow bien décoré tourné vers la piscine et la mer. Restaurant raffiné, très bon, service parfait.

Cons:

Tout était parfait. Nous reviendrons.

El paraíso a tu alcance

Es perfecto para desconectar de la rutina y el estrés diario y reconectar con uno mismo y la naturaleza. El personal es muy amable y atento y toda la comida deliciosa!

Cons:

No ofrece demasiados servicios para salir de allí. Tienen un par de contactos de taxistas privados que te hacen el trayecto y te hacen de “guías” y te cobran bastante caro. Yo viajo sola y me hubieran gustado más opciones de excursiones y más económicas.

Für ein paar erholsame Tage am Strand zur Entspannung
Pros:

Die Lage am Strand war fantastisch. Die Anlage ist gepflegt, und man bewegt sich auf kleinen Wegen unter Bäumen und Pflanzen zu den verschiedenen Cabanas, dem Restaurant, dem Pool und zum Strand. Es herrscht eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Angebot an Yoga und Achtsamkeitskursen war gut, mindestens zwei bis maximal dreimal am Tag konnte man zusätzlich Stunden buchen, die auf einer erhöhten, überdachten, grossräumigen Yoga-Plattform mit Meeresrauschen gehalten worden. Es ist kein Ort für Massentourismus, und die Touristen vermischen sich mit Gästen von ausserhalb des Resorts in den Restaurants, der Bar und in den Kursen. Die Betten waren gemütlich und unsere Cabana war mit einem Airconditioner ausgestattet, was wir als grossen Vorteil empfunden haben. Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich musste einen Arzt kommen lassen, wobei mir mit der Organisation von der Rezeption geholfen wurde. Mehrmals am Tag kam Sicherheitspersonal durch das Resort gelaufen.

Cons:

Es handelt sich um eine „gated community“ und ausserhalb des kleinen Dorfes Perla Marina ist es weniger friedlich. Also kein Ort, den wir als geeignet empfunden haben, um von dort aus viele tolle Ausflüge mit dem Auto oder zu Fuss zu machen. Es gab auch einige freilaufende Hunde aus der Umgebung. Jedoch hat sich das Personal immer bemüht, aus dem Resort heraus die Hunde zu verscheuchen.

Beautiful boutique property, nature everywhere, and fresh food!
Pros:

You feel like you’re in a tropical rainforest when you first walk onto the property, as you continue it turns into a beach paradise! The cabana’s are super cool, we stayed in Piedra, highly recommend requesting that one, very close to the beach, you could see the ocean while laying down in bed!
The staff is wonderful and friendly, especially Rosa who has such sweet energy!

Cons:

Use caution while using any of there swings, hammocks, or hanging nets! They are not up to USA standards!
My fiancé was using the hammock chair that was attached to our cabana and it broke while he was on it. He sustained some scratches and bruises, the wood pole did hit him in the forehead. It could have been a lot worst but this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Ultimately the metal ring was rusted and should have been replaced a while ago.

When brought to staff attention, little concern was placed on the whole ordeal. No compensation nor solution was brought forth on behalf of the host which is disappointing and unprofessional. I would have put 10/10 if it wasn’t for this accident and how it was handled.

Perfect !
Pros:

Perfect experience! The place is absolutely incredible and the staff is really welcoming! The classes of yoga (and others) are great.
And the menu for the breakfast, the lunch and the dinner are really good!
We highly recommend and if we come in republic Dominican again we will come back for sure!
