Won't be recommending
Pros:

We liked the location and where it was but saying this it was on a very busy road which kept us awake most of the night and it was difficult to find at first and the car park arpund the car as its not clearly marked out

Cons:

The bed was really uncomfortable, super hard and riggid, there was limescale all over the shower, chipped floor tiles which we caught our feet on a few times, the door handle was hanging off so was unsure if it was locked of not.

An olde establishment in a historic town , worth preservation .
Pros:

Great location. Ample off street parking. Warm
clean room.

Cons:

Minor building maintenance needed . Beer garden bbq area could be put to
use , plenty of unused space for local
musicians. Food-, it would be nice to
be able to rely on advertised availability of food .

I booked in but left soon after and did not stay the night as I was so appalled.
Pros:

I ended up not staying the night as I was so disappointed.

Cons:

The hotel was advertised as having food. No evening meal was available. I asked the staff about where to eat nearby nearby. They had no information and could not tell me if breakfast would be available in the morning. The decor was poor. The staff were unfriendly and I was not confident about security.

Staying in a historic building. We even got a visit from "Suki" the ghost!

Cons:

The heating (or lack of it) - very cold first night! No instructions to work the heater. No heating in the very cold bathroom.

I enjoyed my stay , friendly welcoming locals .
Pros:

i like the location & nice setting. Bed was comfortable, nice and warm room with window view of a courtyard.

Cons:

It would be nice if more food was available. Better area for kettle .

Nice second night stay. Breakfast & service was good. Warm room, comfortable bed.

Cons:

As mentioned, kettle area should be better - a cord so it reaches the table. Food available as per web advertisement & signs outside .

Every thing was satisfactory would definitely consider booking here again if I’m in the area

Nothing really only the TV remote was missing from the room when asked the staff was told the previous tenants had taken it!
