I booked in but left soon after and did not stay the night as I was so appalled.
Pros:

I ended up not staying the night as I was so disappointed.

Cons:

The hotel was advertised as having food. No evening meal was available. I asked the staff about where to eat nearby nearby. They had no information and could not tell me if breakfast would be available in the morning. The decor was poor. The staff were unfriendly and I was not confident about security.

Pros:

Staying in a historic building. We even got a visit from "Suki" the ghost!

Cons:

The heating (or lack of it) - very cold first night! No instructions to work the heater. No heating in the very cold bathroom.

I enjoyed my stay , friendly welcoming locals .
Pros:

i like the location & nice setting. Bed was comfortable, nice and warm room with window view of a courtyard.

Cons:

It would be nice if more food was available. Better area for kettle .

Nice second night stay. Breakfast & service was good. Warm room, comfortable bed.

Cons:

As mentioned, kettle area should be better - a cord so it reaches the table. Food available as per web advertisement & signs outside .

Every thing was satisfactory would definitely consider booking here again if I’m in the area

Nothing really only the TV remote was missing from the room when asked the staff was told the previous tenants had taken it!

Charming pub in a lovely location with great staff and lovely breakfast

Cons:

Pillows were filthy dirty, broken hazardous tiles in bathroom, no place to boil kettle apart from the floor, dressing table / desk extremely dirty, no bathroom blind.
A double room with only 1 set of towels, wires and cables loose from tv, human hair in baked bean dish at breakfast

The breakfast times were on the sheet handed to me, but then only to be told it was not available until 9 am.

Very sad experience
Pros:

There was nothing to like, we were moved to room 11 after I threatened court action. This room was no better and the wash sink area was disgusting.
This place spoiled our visit to our daughter.The place should be shut down.

Cons:

The first room 2 was disgusting and dangerous the corridor lighting was broken, the shower door came off in my hand, the kettle had to be used on a flooring socket. There was no sink plug.

George and Dragon is an old coaching inn in need of a makeover. Typical and rather charming
Pros:

Breakfast on 26th was adequate.
Was disappointed not to be advised prior to arrival that breakfast was cancelled on 25th. This is understandable being Christmas Day, but with earlier advice, we could have planned ahead

Curtains in the bedroom need to be rehung
