Pros:

Wir wurden sehr freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen und der Check-In verlief reibungslos.
Das Familienzimmer war sehr groß und die Betten gemütlich.
Das zubuchbare Frühstück war typisch britisch.

Cons:

Leider war der Mülleimer im Badezimmer bei der Ankunft nicht geleert und eines unserer Zimmer roch nach Schimmel.
Insgesamt wirkt das Hotel im Großen und Ganzen schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Great value for money in a quiet area of Babbacombe
Pros:

Check in was smooth. The room was well equipped with a decent TV and private bathroom. Breakfast was great, especially the bacon and fried eggs (the yolk was still runny). Location was good, although you won't have a sea view, but the coast is less than a 5 minute walk away.

Cons:

My first impression pulling into the car park at the rear of the hotel wasn't great - it looked a little run down and I also scraped my front bumper on the poor transition between the road and the car park surfaces. Some parts of the hotel are looking a little tired, with wall paper peeling off in the restaurant area, however I have to remember that this was a bargain price, so it was all good.

Very dissatisfied.
Cons:

Breakfast awful. Served between 8 and 10am everything i put on my plate was cold and I arrived at 8.10 am. Shower head extremely dirty, walls marked and floorboards very sneaky. Awful nigjts sleep as room above us were very noisy.

La ubicación, ya que está en una buena zona y muy cerca de la casa de mis familiares. Es la segunda vez que me alojo en el hotel y esta vez mi habitación era más confortable, espaciosa y acondicionada que la vez anterior (mayo 2025).

Cons:

Hay una gran diferencia en negativo con hoteles de su misma categoría en España, que es lo mas conocido para mi, El hotel resulta anticuado. Considero que la. relación calidad/ precio no es adecuada, al menos para mis estándares. El mobiliario está mal cuidado, no cambian las toallas a diario ni tampoco la ropa de cama en las 7 noches en las que me he hospedado en este viaje.

I’ve paid less money and stayed in better hotels. Very out dated. Shame because it could be a great hotel.
Pros:

Easy access and good location.
The TV room was by far the best feature.
Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Mattress poor quality. Cistern drip drip dripping all night. Mould on windows. Tv remote didn’t turn tv off or on so had to get off the bed to physically do it. Manager doing bingo when we arrived and had to wait ages to get booked in. Ran out of orange juice at breakfast.

Pros:

Daisy on reception/everywhere, is amazing she can not do enough for you along with all the other staff very friendly and look after you food was amazing breakfast really nice the spa area is lovely outside was a very cold but it is March it would of been nice if it was warmer as lots tried to swim in it even though it's advertised not open till may , can't wait to come back

Pool too cold would of been nice to have a swim when came out of sauna as others said the same
