Great stopover location
Pros:

The room was spacious and clean - ideal for our one night stopover returning from Havelock to Port Blair. Staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. A/C worked well. Close to the airport - just 100 INR in a tuk-tuk.

Cons:

Not a big issue for us, but the third floor premises (with no lift) might be a problem for some guests. Although it's a personal preference, we found the bed to be a bit too firm. The quiet location was not ideal for flagging down 'passing' taxis or tuk-tuks, and we struggled a bit (in 30 degree heat) to get down to the main road with our luggage. Not a huge problem though, as it's downhill all the way.

Clean and safe
Pros:

Appreciate Abhi’s help and guidance. The place is located close to the airport. A few places to eat and a shop are also nearby. The room was spacious and clean.

Pros:

The room has an amazing view and was really nice, comfortable and spacious. Bed was big. It has a well functional aircon, a good bathroom and a huge closet with lock/ key.
JJ b&b (or JJ niwas as it is also called) is very central on DEEN street, close to everything, but still a bit back from the main street and the traffic.
The owner and his wife speak perfect English, they are very nice people, helpful and serviceminded.
The owner has good contacts, if you want help to arrange tours, without being riped off.

I would say the best stay I've experienced in Port Blair.
Great value for money and beautiful balcony view.
