Simply AMAZING!

The landscape is beautiful, but there’s no security and it’s in a very insecure area. I arrived at almost midnight, and the security gate was wide open and there was no security guard. In fact, there is no one in charge of security at the property just one young guy who is very nice at the desk. Also, the property itself is in very poor condition. No screens on windows and lots of mosquitoes. No lights on pathways. In fact, no pathway to our room we had to walk through the sprinklers on a steep trail to get to the room with lots of bags . Management is nonexistent do not go here. Hopefully this place will be sold refurbished and run by solid management as the site itself is beautiful.

We can not recommend this hotel and it’s staff more highly!! Our very first experience of South Africa and South African hospitality! We were made to feel so welcome and like family! We will mention Rachel, Faith and Vivienne in particular but all staff went the extra mile for us. So much so we rebooked for our last two nights too!
When we return to ZA we will be back as I can’t think of a better place/ location to recover after a long flight and relax into holiday mode! Food was great- company even better!!

Fabulous stay. Absolutely loved it here. Greta location out of city and nicely accessible to beaches, wineries and garden route.
Spa is really good, Food excellent and great value. Lovely views and very peaceful. If you want to be picky a few things might want a tidy up, but none are of any consequence. Properly good find this place and great value. Sad to be going. Staff really nice and helpful. will come back for sure

Absolutely loved our stay here! Yes there are a few minor issues like other reviews on Google mention, the pool towels - if you can even get one - are tatty with a few holes in them but there are so many positives. The room, well suite, we had was huge, a full big lounge area and a massive bedroom plus a big bathroom and a small balcony with amazing views over the city. In fact that's one of the fantastic things about this hotel, the views are stunning!
There are 2 lovely outdoor swimming pools plus another indoor one that's heated! There aren't enough sun loungers and a few of the ones they do have are falling to bits but overall the many positives outweigh the negatives. Strangely enough, the minor things that are wrong really wouldn't cost much at all to fix. Bad senior management or owners I'd say, as all the staff we interacted with were great.
You really need a car here as it's way out on the edge of the city but there are some lovely restaurants within a 10 to 25 minute drive away.
The prices for next year seem way higher than we paid this year or we would have already re-booked for next year.
Ideally I'd like to keep it a secret but if you're looking for somewhere outside of the city and away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place.

I paid ZAR1500 for a luxury room for two. It had specified a queen bed. On arrival at reception, no mention was made of the fact that the room which we had booked was actually not given to us and there had been a mess up with our booking. We only discovered this when we arrived at our room and after we had paid at reception. We were thus charged ZAR1500 for a very average room with two single beds. When paying that amount of money for an average room, and no fresh milk can be provided in the mini bar, nor can the staff inform you of a booking mess up before you pay and get to your room, I am left feeling pretty disappointed.
