Pros:

Very friendly staff, spacious rooms with AC, Fan and good wifi, restaurants and small supermarktes close by, beaches in walking distance, good value

Cons:

There is a really huge area where new hotels/restaurants/stores we're built with a lot of noise all day through - maybe to make Cat Ba/Lan Ha Bay as busy and overcrowded with tourists and ships as Halong - anyway there is nothing negative to say about CatBa Central Hotel - there you are away from the noise 👍

Très bon rapport qualité prix
Pros:

Chambre spacieuse et propre, vue dégagée sur le lac et on voit même un bout de montagne.
Emplacement idéal, tout proche du centre-ville et une plage tranquille est même accessible à 10min à pieds.
Petit déjeuner frais et correct.
Personnel très gentil !

Cons:

La salle de bain mériterait un bon coup de frais

Great value, location and hospitality we recommend booking for your stay in Catba Island.
Pros:

Wonderful stay! We spent one night here and had a great experience from start to finish. The young man and woman running the hotel were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond—offering helpful recommendations and assisting us with booking an evening tour which made everything so easy. The woman made great food recommendations and we were able to try banh da cua which is a regional specialty.

The room was very comfortable, with strong, hot water and powerful air conditioning—an absolute must in Vietnam. The location was also perfect, within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and services.

Overall, the value for the price was excellent. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cat Ba Island and would happily stay here again

Pros:

Perfect ! The receptionist is really nice, he helped us a lot during our stay. Always kind, tries to do the best for your stay. Honestly, we recommander it highly !

Pros:

Нам понравился этот отель красивым видом из окна (вид на озеро и горы), удобным расположением, шаговая доступность до центра, в тоже время тихая улица. Но самое главное преимущество отеля, это персонал, менеджер решает все вопросы и идёт на встречу по всем вопросам.

Pros:

La chambre était très propre et fonctionnel avec un belle vue sur le lac.

L’emplacement central mais à la fois calme est très appréciable.

Cons:

Malheureusement, le personnel de l’hôtel est débordé : tous les jours, nous n’avons pas reçu les bons petits déjeuners que nous avions commandés seulement 5 minutes auparavant.

De plus, les recommandations concernant les choses à faire, excursions, locations scooters sont un peu aléatoires et pas très clairs, nous avons préféré gérer par nous même !

C’est la première fois au Vietnam que nous ressentons vraiment un manque de professionnalisme de la part du personnel. C’est donc un point à améliorer pour pouvoir atteindre une note de 5/5 !
