Safe secure hotel for females travelling alone.
Pros:

I am a woman and was travelling on my own. The staff were great and really looked after me. My room was comfortable and breakfast was on the rooftop and was plentiful.

The location was good for me as I needed to be near new Delhi railway station. However, it must be said this neighbourhood is a bustling. lively and noisy part of Delhi.

That being said, I love Delhi.

Based on the fact that there are 1000 hotels to chose between, this is a very decent place to be staying at!
Pros:

We chose a hotel near the Chadni Chowk and near the train station

The hotel room toilet is worn and could need a rennovation/fix, but staff is 10/10

Great hotel with professional staff
Pros:

The Godwin Hotel was a pleasure. Everyone was courteous and helpful. Ajju designed a very nice budget friendly itinerary. We came to India unprepared. So that was helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. There was ample selections for different dietary needs. For 10 nights the Godwin was home base.

We had the pleasure of having Basant as our driver for our 6 night 7 day excursion throughout the golden triangle. From the moment Basant picked us up, he was professional, courteous, and incredibly attentive.

Driving in India can be intense, but Basant handled the roads calmly and with complete confidence and professionalism. We always felt safe and comfortable in his care. The car was exceptionally clean, he was always punctual.

Also a shout out to Ajju and the fine people at the Godwin for being so flexible. Due to flight disruption, we had to shorten our excursion by a night. It was no problem.

Everyone from housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, waiters and doormen were all outstanding. Great team dynamics.

The Godwin treated us with “Atithi Devo Bhava “ meaning “The guest is like God.”

Bantu dhanyavaad, Basant and Ajju, Many thanks to the whole Godwin team.

Pros:

Very good hotel. Clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful and kind. When I come to Delhi, I always stay at Grand Godwin Hotel because it is a good place to stay.

Cons:

L'hôtel a annulé notre hébergement réservé depuis plusieurs mois afin de pouvoir augmenter les prix car il y avait un congrès de docteurs.... Pas cool du tout !

Ein super Hotel mit tollem Personal und Service, die den Aufenthalt in Delhi großartig einfach und einladend gestalten.
Pros:

Der tolle Service. Von der Organisation der Abholung über eine ganze Stadttour mit dem wunderbaren Driver Basand, der unter anderem noch eine Riksha Tour durch Old-Delhi organisierte mit großartigen Shopping-Empfehlungen bis hin zu kleinen Anfragen, die sofort gelöst wurden, war alles top.

Hôtel correct, mais emplacement pas idéal.
Pros:

L'hôtel est pratique si vous devez prendre le train, dont la rue est toujours embouteillée. Le quartier est assez vivant, on est proche de baazar street. La douche possède une paroi, ce qui évite de tout inonder contrairement à beaucoup d'hôtels en Inde. Les lits sont confortables.

Cons:

Le prix est un peu élevé, les possibilités de restauration sont limitées dans l'environnement immédiat de l'hôtel (sauf à être aventureux). Le petit déjeuner indien est correct, mais la partie continentale est à éviter (beurre vraiment louche, limite rance). Enfin si vous pensez que l'emplacement est idéal pour prendre le métro, il n'en est rien, la station est derrière la gare, bien plus loin qu'il n'y parait, on finit dans les embouteillages en tuk tuk ou taxi. Si je devais revenir à New Delhi, je choisirait un quartier un peu plus excentré, uber/ola vous transportant où vous voulez pour une somme modique.
Attention également : nous avions au départ une chambre aveugle (bien qu'exécutive), nous avons pu changer mais cela dépend de l'occupation de l'hôtel.

Top verblijf op een goede locatie!
Pros:

Super verblijf midden in Delhi! Locatie is top, personeel is vriendelijk en wij hebben heerlijk geslapen. Fijnste bed en kussens wat wij in India hebben gehad. Hotel was bovendien echt een oase van rust in het chaotische centrum van Delhi.
