Bed was very comfortable. Bed linen and pillows good quality. Bathroom had lovely plump towels. Shower facilities were top notch
No complimentary cookies!
No shower cap in bathroom. You can ask about this at the reception apparently, but by the time I discovered this, I wasn’t getting dressed again to go downstairs.

It was very tired. It’s in need of a bit of TLC. Needs redecorating, a good deep clean in the hallway and staircase.

I absolutely loved how the place is situated. In the middle of a charming neighbourhood, lots of tiny great eateries around, great connections to tube and trains. If I had had more time, I would have loved to go to one of in-house shows. My room was fairly quiet, given the fact that there were music and other events in the house and train lines were close by. You can't have everything, can you? On my departure day, they were so kind and kept the heaviest part of my luggage for a couple of hours.
Although I mentioned a malfunction of the safe in my room to them, they didn't get back to me if I either didn't handle it properly or if it was a real malfunction, and what they intended to do about it. I was too busy and had not precious enough items with me to pursue the matter.

Great location. Easy access to lovely Balham and entral London. Stylish room. Pleasant staff.
No breakfast but a large Sainsbury’s two minutes away so that did the trick.
Fabulous venue - 3 min walk from the tube station - gorgeous rooms.. fab food too x
