Excellent location, helpful and attentive staff, good value for money.
Pros:

Lovely open building, lots of space. Tables not too close together. Room was a good size, bed was super comfortable. ALL staff absolutely delightful. Excellent value, can’t recommend it enough.

Cons:

Nothing that springs to mind.

Prima hotel bij een heerlijke pub
Pros:

Hotel achter een pub. Eten en sfeer van de pub zijn fantastisch. Ook het ontbijt wordt daar geserveerd en is niets op aan te merken.

Cons:

Warm op de kamer en de bedbank erg slecht.

Zu Teuer - Für das Geld hätten wir MEHR erwartet.
Cons:

Zimmer: es fehlten Kühlschrank, Taschentücher, sogar Klobürste
Frühstück: English Breakfast ist überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen.
Essen: Der Sonntagsmenükarte war zum größten Teil nicht bestellbar!
Biergarten: Tische waren schmutzig.
Für das Geld hätten wir MEHR erwartet.

Highly recommend
Pros:

We’ve been here twice and both times were excellent. Lovely staff. Great restaurant.

Cons:

Getting to and from the hotel can be a challenge when relying on taxis or public transport.

Pros:

Good location. Very good staff. The bedroom we were in was very comfortable very clean and well furbished.

Cons:

Nothing if I was being very critical outside could do with a sweep but the weather is so dry and hot I wouldn’t expect anyone to do it !!

Breakfast was appalling! Advertised as Back bacon, it was streaky and very greasy. Looked like it had been thrown on the plate from afar! 2 Cumberland sausage, it was one sausage with no taste at all! Not Cumberland

Staff at the hotel and at the pub went out of their way to help and this made for a very positive experience
Pros:

The hotel rooms are in a separate building behind the pub - really well-appointed and comfortable.

Cons:

Nobody’s fault but the hot weather meant that even with fans the bedrooms were generally too warm. Those on the right side of the building on the ground floor were coolest (we had booked a few rooms).

The staff never fail to make us feel welcome on every visit.
Pros:

The staff are always so friendly and the rooms comfortable and very clean. The housekeepers do an excellent job and are always willing to help if you need additional teas and coffees, or a room clean.

Cons:

Apparently they have a new chef and sadly the cooked breakfast wasn't as great as it always has been in the past. We invited some friends to join us for breakfast without realising that the cooked food was not up to scratch and they were sadly disappointed.
