Rooftop sunset style!
Pros:

Nice funky-style modern hotel. Good location close to the beach and in the middle of the Patong action! Great breakfast and friendly staff. The rooftop pool and bar are terrific anytime. Great views and a nice pool. It’s awesome for sunset drinks - which we did every day!

Cons:

The rooms are very narrow and a tight squeeze - hardly any space to put your bags. We travel with hand luggage - if you have a big suitcase it would be a real struggle. The walls don’t have any soundproofing- we could hear people talking loudly in adjacent rooms and in the corridor at all hours of the night. Aside from these arrogant, rude guests from a guess-where part of the world… the lack of sound proofing didn’t help.

Great location, friendly staff, and very clean (and - importantly - no issue with mosquitoes)!

Cons:

The upgrade did provide a bigger room, but it came with no balcony - but no problem if you're a non-smoker or just prefer indoors.
