Great location and lovely pool, but the room setup and presentation were more disappointing than expected.
Pros:

The location was excellent and very convenient for everything. It was close to the beach, nightlife, restaurants, and shops, and also very close to Boss Tailor, which I would highly recommend. The pool area was beautiful and a great place to relax after a long day of walking around or when we just wanted to slow down and enjoy the hotel. The staff were very good and helpful throughout our stay.

Cons:

We paid for a fairly large room, but in hindsight it did not feel worth it. The room itself was not especially well designed, and it had a broken daybed that would be better replaced with a sofa and table since there is enough space for that. Another issue was that these rooms were in a different building from the one closest to the pool. The walk was not far, but our first room was right by the street and the noise was so bad that we could not imagine staying there. We were able to move to another room in the same building, which was better, but the view was disappointing, either overlooking the parking area between the building and the lobby or facing a wall from the window. What bothered us most was that this is not made very clear in the photos or the limited room information, so it felt a bit misleading. The breakfast was okay, but nothing special.

Het complex is aan onderhoud toe. Tegels bij het zwembad kapot wat resulteerde in een snee bij mijn zoon. Ik zag stukken roestig staal uitsteken. Er liepen mieren en kakkerlakken in mijn huisje.

We loved Ao Nang Orchid, very nice and clean and great location
Pros:

great location, very close to the beach and plenty of restaurants around. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The pool area was very relaxing and beautiful.

Cons:

Very loud if your room is road side so would probably be worth paying extra for a pool view room.
The shower is also a nightmare, gets very wet due to a lip between the wall and the bath where all the water sits, only suitable for a quick shower but that is our only negative

Basen i lokalizacja / The pool and location
Pros:

[PL] Super lokalizacja – blisko morza i głównej ulicy handlowej, a mimo to bardzo cicho. Świetnym rozwiązaniem są domki przy basenie, z których z balkonu można wejść bezpośrednio do wody. Dzięki temu korzystaliśmy z basenu kilka razy dziennie. Z poziomu basenu można było też zamówić drinki i pić je w jacuzzi z widokiem na góry – świetne doświadczenie.

Przyjazny personel mówiący po angielsku. W hotelu jest czysto, a pani sprzątająca zrobiła nam urocze słoniki z ręczników. Dobre Wi-Fi. Śniadanie było w porządku – pani przy stanowisku z jajkami przygotowała dla nas pyszną jajecznicę, choć sam bufet mógłby oferować nieco większą różnorodność.

Ogólnie bardzo polecam i chętnie tu wrócę.

[EN] Great location – close to the beach and the main shopping street, yet still very quiet. The poolside villas are a fantastic feature; you can step directly into the pool from the balcony. Thanks to that, we used the pool several times a day. You can also order drinks from the pool and enjoy them in the jacuzzi with a beautiful mountain view – a great experience.

The staff were friendly and spoke English. The hotel was very clean, and the housekeeper even made lovely towel elephants for us. The Wi-Fi was good. Breakfast was okay – the lady at the egg station made us a delicious scrambled egg, although the buffet itself could offer a bit more variety.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would happily return.
