Pros:

Great hotel in the heart of El Nido, very close to everything, beaches, restaurants, clubs etc. Nice and helpful staff. Great vegan food for breakfast.

Das beste Frühstück meiner Asienreisen
Pros:

Ich bereite mich vor Reisen immer gründlich vor. Die Bewertungen zum Frühstück im H Hotel haben mich letztlich überzeugt zu buchen, und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht.
Die Frühstückskarte hat wirklich viel zu bieten. Jeden Tag etwas anderes: Obstteller mit Brot, Kichererbsen-Omelette und so weiter. Als jemand, der seit Jahren auf Fleisch verzichtet, war das die beste Frühstücksauswahl, die ich bisher in Asien hatte. Die Portionen sind ordentlich, aber man fühlt sich danach nicht schwer, sondern eher frisch und leicht.
Die Spa-Behandlung hab ich zweimal gebucht. Einmal aus Neugier, einmal weil ich nach dem Island Hopping und dem Sonnenbrand wirklich etwas gebraucht habe. Die Therapeutin hatte ein gutes Gespür für den richtigen Druck. Für den Sonnenbrand gab es eine Behandlung mit Aloe Vera, angenehm kühlend.
Morgens auf dem Balkon des Meerblickzimmers meditieren, mit Blick auf die Bucht, ab und zu ein Boot in der Ferne. Diese Stille ist genau das, warum man in Urlaub fährt.

H Hotel - One of the most perfect hotel experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world!

Simply put, we absolutely LOVED our 7-night stay at the H Hotel in El Nido, Palawan!
From the moment we arrived, every member of the staff—front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, security, and doormen—was gracious, warm, and genuinely kind. They made us feel like family. A special thank you to Charlie, Val, Nette, Jillian, Joy, Javz, and Mitz for making our stay so memorable.
During our stay, my wife Tran and I enjoyed often chatting with the front desk team. As full-time world travelers, we enjoyed sharing our experiences, and they were equally enthusiastic about sharing insights into Filipino life and culture. These personal connections truly enhanced our stay.
The hotel itself is relatively new (around 3–4 years old), and it shows. The lobby is beautiful, and the entire property feels fresh and well-maintained.
Our room was spacious, quiet, and featured a lovely balcony. We slept incredibly well every night—something we truly value after long days of travel.
One unique and charming touch is the hotel’s “ambassador,” HH the house cat, who greets guests in the lobby. HH is friendly and clearly a guest favorite!
The hotel’s restaurant, VerDe, is fully vegan. While we are not vegan, we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts each morning.
The rooftop bar and restaurant, Piece of Sky, is a standout feature. The views overlooking the harbor and the Pacific Ocean are stunning. We spent many relaxing moments there enjoying the breeze and scenery—it was one of our favorite parts of the hotel.
The hotel also arranged several excellent tours for us, including a fantastic full-day island-hopping experience. In addition, guests have access to the hotel’s sister properties. We visited Piece Lio on beautiful Lio Beach, and the hotel even provided complimentary shuttle service—an added bonus that we really appreciated.
To sum it up, the H Hotel is one of the most “perfect” hotels we have stayed at anywhere in the world!

I would happily give this hotel a 5-star rating. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.

We did encounter a small plumbing issue in our room, but it was handled exceptionally well. Val from reception was incredibly helpful and immediately offered us another room, which we really appreciated. To make up for the inconvenience, she went above and beyond by providing two complimentary 90-minute massages for me and my wife.

On top of that, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a free transfer from Puerto Princesa to El Nido, and also a comfortable return transfer back to Puerto Princesa in a van.

The level of service and care we experienced truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!

Pros:

The staff at the H Hotel was exceptional and professional. I would like to acknowledge the following staff members: Joy, Val, Charlie, Sky, and Bello. I liked the armed security out front. The proximity of the hotel to the water.

Cons:

The room didn't have a phone to call the front desk. There wasn't a note pad or pen. The bathroom has no shelving space to put your toiletries. Overall, the functionality could be a lot better.
