No value for money and too many small things did not work.
Pros:

Location near restaurants and beach. Rooms were clean. Mini bar was free. Staff was very helpful and friendly. And they understood Bisaya. The rooftop view was nice.

Cons:

For breakfast, we had to walk to another hotel for non-vegan options. Menu items at that hotel were extremely limited. The room had not telephone to contact frontdesk or restaurant. Instead we had to use whatsapp which was unusual and awkward. The space to move around in the room was limited and at points you have to squeeze between bed and wall. Ordering non-vegan items was very, very difficult - as already mentioned, you have to use whatsapp, and if the restaurant cannot accommodate you, you have to download an external third-party mobile app which accepts cash only. We did manage to order a fruit platter from the hotel restaurant. The "platter" was delivered in a small carton, with two wooden utensils and a small and minimal selection of fruit. In my opinion not value for money.
Other minor things also irritated: the door had to be slammed twice before closing, and the doorbell did not work.

Pros:

I had an amazing stay in El Nido. The hotel’s restaurants were outstanding—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What truly made the experience special was the staff. They were professional, extremely helpful, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Their genuine hospitality made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again

H Hotel is easily a top-tier choice in El Nido. Even as non-vegans, we were blown away by the vegan breakfast—it’s genuinely delicious and high-quality. For dinner, the rooftop restaurant serves up incredible steaks with a view to match. The location is perfect for exploring, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Great location, in a very busy area but located at the end of the strip so not quite as noisy as further in to the resort. Sky bar and restaurant was fantastic for food, drinks and views. All staff were friendly, helpful and always happy to help.

Cons:

A chill out area for guests that isn’t at the bar would have been good.

Enfin, un hôtel avec un ascenseur
Pros:

La première chose que j’ai vérifiée : l’ascenseur. Oui, il y en a un. Pour toute personne ayant des problèmes de genoux, cela compte énormément à El Nido. Il y a même un petit panneau à l’intérieur qui le décrit comme l’ascenseur le plus lent du monde. Ce n’est pas si terrible. Venez voir par vous-même.
La chambre familiale peut accueillir confortablement trois personnes. Mon petit-fils a pu courir partout sans se cogner, et il y a un petit balcon où l’on peut prendre l’air. Il ne donne pas directement sur la mer, mais en avoir un est déjà un plus. La chambre est équipée d’un sèche-cheveux, ce qui n’est pas le cas dans tous les hôtels aux Philippines.
Le petit-déjeuner, je vais être honnête : en voyant le menu entièrement végétal le premier jour, je n’étais pas sûr. Ce n’est pas ce à quoi je suis habitué. Mais j’ai tout mangé quand même.
Le personnel de sécurité est rassurant, toujours là pour aider à la porte. Un membre de la réception m’a même appris quelques mots de la langue locale. Salamat po!

Albergo meraviglioso
Pros:

Molto bene, posizione+servizio+pulizia+qualità del cibo.
Camera perfetta, colazione vegana super, posizione centrale a pochi passi dal mare .
Mettono anche a disposizione i teli mare per le varie escursioni.
A due passi da lavanderia, ristoranti, Bakery e ATM.
Lo consiglio perché è un ottimo albergo, ideale per chi cerca una soluzione di alto livello.
