Everything perfect, my best stay in India, the food in the restaurant is super nice, the room is so cozy, and they got me a great tuk tuk driver, super helpful

You can find a new family here. The staff do everything they can to make you feel at home. I planned to stay for 2 nights, but ended up staying for 5. My favorite part was sitting on the rooftop and having amazing conversations. All these people have a hearts of gold.
The rooms are beautiful, clean, and smell amazing.

A perfect place to stay in Jaipur. As mentioned in the previous content this place is very special. The staff will make you feel like home. The food is amazing and cheap. The cherry on top is the amazing terrace !

The outside of the building is deceiving, but the Lodge is a B&B with a hotel like-feel. It's a great stay for tourists as the location gets you quickly to many attractions and there are several places nearby.
The rooms and balcony/restaurant area are a highlight. The room was exactly as the picture, spacious and with great furniture. The bathroom was clean and came with all the amenities (towel, toilet paper, soap, shampoo & conditioner). The room was also pretty sound proof to the noise outside and between the rooms/rooftop.
The upstairs area is good to hang out, get some work in and socialize with the owner and other guests. The plants on the balcony are the perfect touch and break from the bustle of they city below.
They also provide laundry services but can be inconsistent of when they return it. I would advise to use it if you have at least 2 days before check out.
The breakfast and dinner were healthy and delicious, it is an additional charge.
Overall it was a good stay and worth the value!
The property only accepts cash payments which can be very inconvenient. They tally up everything at the end such as using the laundry service, or price of meals so keep track of how much you're spending.
My first day, the staff came to my door in the middle of the day with a man to check the bathroom. It was a weird and awkward experience and wish I had been given the heads up. If I wasn't there at the time, I wonder if they would have just entered the room without me knowing.
Twice I was told my laundry would be done at a certain time and date and it wasn't. I'm glad it wasn't the day I checked out or that would have been stressful. Honesty is the best policy.

We want to warn other travellers about an experience that closely matches the typical tourist scam pattern commonly reported in Jaipur: a tuk-tuk driver working for the hotel, introduced to us by the hotel’s reception staff, who repeatedly insisted on taking guests to certain shops and workshops.
During our stay, the driver repeatedly suggested taking us to restaurants, shops and workshops, always saying “up to you”. Eventually, we agreed to visit a jewellery shop. There, we bought a ring which we were told was made of sapphire and silver. We later discovered that the documentation provided to us as a certificate does not meet the requirements that such a certification should meet.
What concerns us most is that we did not choose this jewellery shop or ask to go there: it was the driver provided by the hotel who repeatedly insisted on taking us. We trusted him precisely because he worked for the hotel and had been introduced to us by its reception staff.
The pattern is particularly concerning because it matches the type of tourist-targeting and commission-based practices that are widely reported in Jaipur. We cannot know what financial relationship exists between the driver, the jewellery shop and the hotel, but we believe the hotel should take responsibility for the driver it provides to its guests and explain what relationship he has with the businesses he takes them to.
Our clear recommendation to other travellers: do not accept this driver's services or his recommendations for shops, workshops or jewellery stores.
Apart from this issue, the hotel itself is very well located, offers good value for money and the staff were friendly. Precisely because we had such a good impression of the hotel, we trusted the service they provided, which makes what happened even more disappointing.
We felt really safe and supported at The Lodge - the staff helped us arrange tuktuks and the manager was really kind, generous and helpful. We really liked the colourful room decor!
